ACTA is back

  1. So last week the European Parliamant voted strongly against ACTA, quashing it which everyone thought was a win right? Well it turns out the European Commission has been secretly trying to slip it back onto the table without anyone noticing. There's a document called the Canada - EU Trade Agreement (CETA) which the European Commission is trying to enact which features chapters that are almost entirely taken word for word from ACTA. Luckily someone leaked the Feb 2012 draft of the document. I'm including just a couple of comparisons between ACTA and CETA:
