I listen to a lot of cover songs since modern music isn't that great. Came across this girl who does some really good cover songs on Youtube. I think her name is Kawehi since her channel is called I Am Kawehi but it could be a band name. Looks like she records each individual sound herself beat-box style and loops it with equipment, then adds some instruments live too. Pretty cool stuff. The NIN - Closer cover is amazing. I'm also biased towards Nirvana covers, so Heart Shaped Box is great too. She also does Michael Jackson and Gotye. There are a couple others, but I don't recognize them offhand. I've seen that MJ cover before and was impressed by how the dogs never move. Her songs kind of remind me of the Transistor sound track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e8uxNVFuVY
^ lol. You could be right... I've come to realize I'm really shitty at judging singing voices. Unless it's obviously jarring, it all sounds good to me but others say it was out of tune or off key. Still I haven't heard a NIN cover that good.
