  6. Just in time for them to jack their prices so that I don't give a crap anymore.

  7. The way I see it.. the people using netflix for this purpose are actually saving $2 a month. They probably rarely even took advantage of the 1 dvd rental. I used to have the 3 dvd rental plan. What a waste of money that was.

  8. Out of curiosity, why did you consider it a waste? Personally, I think the 3 DVD plan is the sweet spot for Netflix. You can jettison cable TV completely for $20 a month.

  9. Oops, I should've wrote in detail. I didn't mean that netflix was a waste of money, I just never actually rotated out my queue. I'd rent movies, have it sit there, and it'd get lost under a pile of mail and I'd totally forget that I even had the movies. I had this one movie out for 5 months straight.

I think I got my money's worth when I started doing it through TV series. I went through all the seasons of Stargate SG-1 in record time.. as well as 24.

  10. yeah I'd rather have the DVDs myself... the streaming is a worthless gimmick. Nice if it's combined with something (ala the old plans or amazon free shipping) but worthless on it's own... IMO. OFC I tend to watch movies as soon as I get them. It's only 2-3 hours...

There is no device restriction anymore. Works on any phone using froyo or gingerbread now.
