I've been saying this for ages. Old people treat computers like a museum exhibit. They're afraid to touch anything. It's the moronic dudebro/Joe Sixpack types who don't know anything, but who think they do, who tend to get into trouble online with malware and scams.
old people aren\'t the problem when it comes to computers I see this multiple times a week on facebook. As a matter of fact, I just saw one an hour ago. Someone clicked on some southwest airlines giving away 2 tickets for free link and they unknowingly allowed permission for the site to access their facebook account, which leads to the site using their account to share their website and catch other facebook users to do the same thing.
old people aren\'t the problem when it comes to computers they are.. if they were actually the ones doing a promotion. it took me like 1 minute to look this up on twitter and link to the retard on facebook. https://twitter.com/#!/SouthwestAir/status/158545511425642496
Re: old people aren\'t the problem when it comes to computers They might not be the problem with software but they are when it comes to hardware. Just ordered the second new screen for my step dad's Laptop in 12 months, twice they have broken it. He has a new Laptop in a box which he ordered last week (sandy bridge i5 etc) and was going to give the old one to my sister. Was carrying it to show my mother something through the hallway and dropped it on the tiled floor! Get a fantastic effect when you turn it on now, the thing is completely shattered. Just got the matt screen for £60 this time seeing as it is 3 years old now and seeing how many times this laptop has been in accidents. I think because it is older the screen is more expensive as my newer 9 month old laptop is only £40 for the glossy screen.
