My laptop still hasn't even been built yet according to its tracking page but I remembered I recently purchased one for the office with an older i3 so why not post the results and then I can compare when my Sandy Bridge one arrives. This also only has 3GB RAM whereas my newer one will have 4GB. My new laptop is here and I have posted the results above. Even at nearly 500MHz slower the sandy bride i3 matches the old Arrandale core and there is an increase in the graphics numbers from the new HD 3000 GPU they come with. Overall happy with it for a cheap basic use laptop.

It's my dell inspiron 1520 laptop, my dad's old laptop. Still miles better than the one I bought in 2007. intel core 2 duo what ever that is.

It's the freakin hdd rating. I don't know what MS did. Regardless if you got a pos hdd or hotass raid 0 stripe setup.. as long as it's mechanical, it'll rate you at 5.9 for hdd.
New PC: Currently: Processor: 7.8 Memory: 7.9 Graphics: 7.9 Gaming Graphics: 7.9 Primary Hard Disk: 5.9 Overall: 5.9 I have a 2600K, so I don't think it would be a problem to get 7.9 in CPU if I OCed more. I've got it set that it can go as high as 4.2 GHz but will downclock when not under load. I haven't found a task that required more than that. I'll upgrade the HDD later. I will have it set up with a 2TB 6Gb/s and 1TB 3Gb/s HDDs I found on sale at different times for now. I'm putting off buying SSDs as the technology becomes cheaper and higher capacity.
I did some overclocking. Got my old E6600 up to 3.4ghz with a voltage increase. Stable in Prime 95 after 24 hours, idle 42C, load 62C. A little hot, but my PC is noticeably faster. I think I'll leave it. This CPU is old as hell and if it dies, it will give me an excuse to upgrade. Processor: 6.7 Ram: 6.7 Graphics: 7.5 Gaming Graphics: 7.5 Primary Hard Disk: 5.9
