Sir Roger Moore, known best as the "funny James Bond," has died. http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-40018422 His 007 movies were cheesy and fun, something I really miss with the new ones. The new movies take themselves too seriously.
I agree. I thought Roger Moore pulled off debonair the best. His 70's films were really good but he played the part way too long. The Christopher Walken one was both amazing and horrendous at the same time. Over all a few of his 007 movies still hold up well. I dare to say most of Connery's are kinda boring now except Goldfinger. I've always meant to watch The Saint, but never got around to it. The Val Kilmer movie/reboot wasn't very good.
I haven't seen all of the old Bond movies but Connery's alway did seem kind of dull to me. They may have been better in their prime.
