It could be good, and it currently has an 83% on Rottentomatoes. I particularly like that he straps broken glass to his fists to fight the wolves. After a year of mostly pretentious Oscar bait movies, I could use a good action flick. I'm sure Armadeadn will chime in at some point to say he'd just pick the wolves up and break their backs over his knee the same way he does with pitbulls and lions.
This ended up having pretty good reviews. 77% out of 120 reviews on RT. Ebert liked it. As I said before, 2011 seemed to be full of nothing but pretentious Oscar bait movies like Moneyball and the Tree of Life. It was a really boring year for movies. I can't recall the last time I saw some good action, horror, or sci-fi. A well done survival horror movie seems like a nice change of pace.
