Another RPG from Mistwalker. If you are unknown of Mistwalker they did the games on the Xbox 360 such as Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey and were founded by the creator of Final Fantasy: Hironobu Sakaguchi.

The Story of The Last Story
The Last Story opens on the vibrant Ruli Island, home to the like-named and incredibly massive harbor town of Ruli City. A group of mercenaries, led by main character Elza and his best friend/surrogate big brother Quark, have come to Ruli Island looking for work. Their first assignment is issued to them by the local governor, Count Arganon, and adventure ensues -- taking them throughout the entirety of Ruli Island and then beyond, out across the sea.

The Combat System
The Last Story's single-player campaign will cast you in the role of Elza, but won't send you off on your own. You'll be joined on your journey, and in combat, by your party of fellow mercenaries. The interaction between Elza and his companions form a lot of the focus of the combat system, as you directly control his movements while issuing A.I. orders to the others -- and you're also constantly managing the focus of your foes.

For example, say you're hacking away at an enemy with your sword. That enemy's probably going to be pretty attentive to you and what you're doing to him. Other foes elsewhere on the battlefield, though, might ignore you and go after your friends instead -- and that's where the "Gathering" mechanic comes in. Like a tank pulling aggro on a mob in World of Warcraft (hope I said that right), Elza can get those other enemies to turn their attention back to him -- giving his allies time to, say, complete the casting of a complex magic spell.

The game will also include a couple of different combat options to set, too, include an auto-attack -- turn it on, and your hero will automatically make sword slashes at nearby foes in battle, without you having to make separate button presses for each attack.

This looks and sounds like it is going to be one hell of an Rpg, and it is exclusively on the Wii. Nobuo Uematsu will also be doing the music for this game, so you know that part will be epic. There will also be two different types of online play: Single and co-op. Give the link a read.

I don't know, this looks and sounds much better than Last Remnant did. That said, I enjoyed it a little bit.
