I think I mentioned this in PVC2. I have a laptop and some of the keys have stopped working. At least thats what I thought. When the laptop first boots up all the keys work. About 30 minutes after power up the "a" key stops working and then after an hour the "right shift" and "enter" key stop working. Really weird right? It's got to be a heat problem but I have no idea if I can fix it.
I am sure I have actually seen this before but it was about 3/4 years ago so I could be confusing it with a different laptop keyboard issue. If memory serves simply taking the keyboard off and making sure the ribbon (as they usually are ribbons on laptops) was properly connected cleared it up. In this case I think it had come loose from the zif connection and as it heated up some of the contacts were probably not making good contact.
