Which country makes the best Meatballs?

  1. Definately NOT Sweden.

I think the Italians are probably going to be No.1 in the Meatball category. Probably followed by the Spanish; Albondegas is my favourite Tapas ever...

  2. I think you're right - Italy has to be up there. Sweden is good for second rate meatballs though.

  3. Swedish meatballs are OK I suppose; if you're out shopping for a KLOK book shelf at Ikea and you feel a little peckish then the meatballs they sell in their cafe will suffice until you get some Italian or Spanish meatballs.

  4. I thought all the bookcases were called BILLY? About the only thing in there with a normal name.

  5. How about some southern US meatballs.

Porcupine meatballs are pretty good. The rice stays a little stiff in the meat which gives the meatball it’s name. The meatballs are covered in salty tomato sauce.

Then there are BBQ meatballs which are just delicious sweet garbage.

  6. I'm not really a fan of BBQ or Teriyaki meatballs. Just seems like something a lazy person throws into a crockpot for a party. And people usually use those disgusting frozen meatballs that are full of bone fragments and mystery meat.
