Generally speaking, the off-screen represents the raw power of the GPU independent of screen resolution, while on-screen brings screen resolution into play. That's probably why the A8X falls behind the Shield in the on-screen, as the Shield has a lower screen resolution to drive.
Yep, they've got it figured out. Now there's only two pieces to the puzzle left: A. Customers buying their tablet. B. Customers using their tablet.
Translation. iPad mini sales down. Apple kill the mini in 2015. Figures. The mini was the only Apple device I liked.
I don't plan to buy one but it was always an option. It's the only Apple product that appeals to me. I got my son the original low def one and it put my 2012 Nexus 7 to shame. Now I have the 2013 Nexus 7 and I like that better than the original mini.
Has anyone else been getting non stop iCloud login/password prompts After upgrading to iOS8? Is this supposed to annoy me into upgrading to a TouchID capable device?
I haven't had that issue on my 5S but a guy at work who has a 5 mentioned it to me. He asked me if I was having the same problem.
Are you by chance using a icloud.com login? I'm still using a @me.com which is reportedly the problem. I know it auto-created an icloud login but I'm that goddamn lazy to try and change it. Edit: Just tried my UN/PW directly on the website, and I get a connection error... I thought the point of apple devices is not having to deal with this bogus time wastral shit...
My wife bought me a 64GB iPhone 6 Plus for my birthday. Hopefully it doesn't bend in half in my pocket.
iPhone came right in time for my birthday along with an otterbox case. I've decided that smaller phones are for weak inferior girly men with small hands who definitely wear skinny jeans.
So last night my wife's iPad mini locked up on a web page. The address bar just kept flickering. I couldn't even turn it off. I figured I'd let the battery drain but an hour later it was working again. Thought's?
just as future reference, you can force a restart on the ipad/iphone/ipod devices by holding power and the home button for roughly 6 seconds (basically until you see the screen go black with the apple logo).
The developer for Lords of the Fallen has said that it will be coming to iOS and Android in 2015. The big question seems to be whether or not it will really be a full port of the game. It will be interesting to see how far they try to go with the graphics on A8 or A8X hardware. UPDATE: confirmed that it will NOT be a port of the existing game, but rather a spin-off based on the IP. Can you say Infinity Blade knock-off? ;D
