Normally, we're the same but our usual postman is on holiday and so we appear to have someone who is a little more efficient at their job. I guess they time it depending on where they start their rounds. But yeah, this morning I got bills and a reminder my MOT was due but no copy of Batman. Play used to be really good but I might try Gameplay.com now. I've also just been told about a site called ShopTo which are good apparently....either way, I'm done with Play
I ended up buying Arkham City on PC for $39.99. It was discounted if you already own a copy of Arkham Asylum.
I was going to get the PC version too but it's not coming out until November and my impatience dictates that I purchase a console version instead. I'll probably get the PC one too because I'm contemplating a new gaming PC and Arkham Asylum in 3D with all the bells and whistles on is one of the best looking games I've seen
Slang Mot, a term used for girl, young woman or girlfriend in Ireland, particularly in the Dublin area I'm guessing that isn't what you meant. We don't know your codes man!
Over here any car that is more than 3 years old has to have an MOT every year to make sure it is road worthy. If it fails you can't drive it until the faults are fixed.
I actually still need to finish the first game. I got all messed up because I found the PS3 version cheap and played part of the way through but then I found the PC version for around $9.99 and started playing through that. So I never ended up finishing the game. I think Croc was stalking me where I left off. So I will probably finish up Dark Souls (well, the first run through, anyway...) and then try to get through the rest of Arkham Asylum before Arkham City is available on PC.
I have to finish AA off myself before I even think of getting AC. I am on that Croc part too after getting all of the plant residue I need.
I passed that, beat Bane just after that (if I recall right) and quit... mostly cuz the navigation was too frustrating to me. ie it wasn't clear what to do and where to go.
I was loving the first game and I still do to some extent but I just sort of stopped playing it after a while. Not sure where I got to. I beat Croc and Bane.
I don't think so. I recall Bane being really super easy, come to think of it so was Croc. I was crapping my pants when I first entered his lair and he started attacking me.
I might'a had it backwards. anyway I got sick of all the running around between buildings (levels). I hate games that have this lobby thing that amounts to nothing but a waste of time between levels. I'm like 'get ON with it already I'm bored as F@CK!!' perhaps I just don't like sandbox games. And though this game isn't really your typical open world sandbox game you still end up running around wasting your time alot in between main points in the storyline. I'll take a world map or short tutorial before just putting me there ala COD or Splinter Cell. All this running around is just stupid. Especially when the entrance to the lvl is hidden a la your batcave thing (basically the place you share with Killer Croc lol). I expect Arkham City just went the 'open world' sandbox route rather than 'closed world'... hopefully it's like Deus Ex or Mass Effect (2) though, and just HUGE levels... no stupid lobby in between thanks...
Super pissed off with this. I managed to beat the game on hard difficulty, unlocked the new extra hard mode and was going to finish off looking for the riddler trophies and do all the side missions. I turn the machine on this morning for a quick game and find my save gone. Checking online it seems a lot of people have had a similar issue; get to around 50% and their save vanishes. I am not best pleased to say the least. I'm trading it in for 99p for Uncharted 3 now that I've beat the game but fk me sideways, you'd think that they'd be able to test for a bug like this.... I really enjoyed it up to that point too.
I'll wait until they sort that problem before I get AC. That said, I have just finish AA so waiting would be good to keep AC fresh when I do eventually get it.
Which version does this effect? I've just picked up the PS3 version and you've got me scared I tells you.
Just the 360 version from what I've been reading. I am still super annoyed about it. I really enjoyed it up to that point too.
