The amount of luxory (Lexus, merchant, BMW etc) rear wheel drive autos I have seen sliding around makes me wonder if the drivers even have a brain. All the while my little 1.4 litre with all the weight above the drive wheels pulls away fine straight from second gear. You Americans should learn how manual gearboxes work.
I'm going into town at lunch to buy a new PS3 controller and MGS HD Trilogy now it's finally been released over here. I'm also in the market for some decent in ear headphones for iphone/gaming, any recommendations?
I have been after the same thing but can't make my mind up. The Sennheiser ones sound really nice but the right one ALWAYS breaks, I have had 3 pairs now and it always happens. They work fine for a few months and then the right one will fade, then after a while it will fail completely. Can't decide on which make/model to try next as once you have purchased them you have pretty much committed and you can't test them obviously. Had some real confusion on my gas account this morning. I pay both my Gas and Electric by direct debit each month with a fixed amount and then pay the balance every quarter. At the moment because it is sooooo cold I have been making top up payments on my gas account to ensure that I don't get a huge bill at the end of March. This morning my electric came out but my gas didn't so I called them up. They reckon that because the amount I payed twice since my last direct debit is exactly the same in both cases as my normal direct debit amount the system assumed it was payed and cancelled it until April! Good thing I check my bank religiously, so had to make ANOTHER card payment and set my direct debit back up so that it comes out in March. My electric came out fine even though I made a top up payment but they say it is because I payed £1 more than my direct debit amount.
This seems to happen to my headphones too. The last two pairs of in ear ones suffered the same fate. That was when I decided to take extra care of my next set, I want a little case to store them in when I'm not using them. I'm currently using some really old shitty standard bud headphones as they're the only ones I have left. I used to use in ear phones for playing games at night and they rocked, it was the way forward. It improved my game on black ops as I really could hear where people were coming from based on their footsteps.
I just wasted my lunch break walking into town to buy a ps3 controller that's not black, and MGS hd trilogy and found neither. When game told me they'd sold out of coloured controllers I said I'd have to settle for a black one then they told me those were sold out too. So I came bak and just bought them on amazon. I did however remember I buy some new headphones. I got the sennheiser cx299s.
It was the CX300's that I was having the trouble with so keep your receipt. Play.com always did them for £12 down from £35 but now that the CX300 II's have replaced them you can never get them for under £35 which is part of the reason I haven't got any. Not paying £35 for the right one to fail after a month again.
If you buy your headphones at HMV you can pay a pound for a years insurance on them. I take my sennheisers back all the time and get a replacement and all it costs me each time is a quid to reinsure them again.
I'm going to take good care of these ones. I'll be putting them in the enclosed pouch and keeping them safe rather than just wrapping them up.
I just got some wicked all terain tires so I'm good to go. Unfortunatly I'm out of town and missed the largest February snow storm in 100 years.
Why is everyone so butthurt over the middle finger at the superbowl? The really issue is why ugly people are allowed on tv now.
Speak of the devils. I wonder what these could be. I tell you, having stuff delivered to your workplace is the way to go. I hated coming home to find I have to go to the post office to pick up my stuff.
