My old Nexus One is going in for repair AGAIN on the same fault as last time (unlock button breaks) tomorrow so I probably won't be posting at all outside of work for 5-7 days. I use my phone for everything and it is going to be a little weird. I think most smart phone manufacturers give out 2 year warranties now, checked Samsung and they are the same which will be good if I do go with them next time.
I refuse to upgrade to anything other than an ICS phone and ideally I want it to be the Galaxy SIII if that is what replaces the SII. They have 2-3 months to get this thing released! I suppose once my N1 is repaired again it should be able to last until the SIII comes out. One difference seems to be that HTC get a courier to pick up and return the phone whereas Samsung say either take it in or post it to a repair centre. My colleague's SII has to go back for repair and he is a bit miffed that they are not collecting it. For the record it doesn't auto rotate properly, sometimes it will, sometimes it won't.
This. I have an original Galaxy S which is nearly as old as Grim's Nexus One, and I haven't had any problems with it. It has actually held up much better than the iPhone 3GS I had previously.
I think it's actually the best overlay out of all the oem's (at least Touchwiz 4.. prior touchwiz versions weren't that great). I haven't used Sony's though, since I have yet to meet anyone in the US with a Sony phone. I don't think they do too well in America. But I have used HTC Sense extensively and Motorola's Blur a bit. Sense is too much style over substance, and Blur is just horrible. Only thing is that the Touchwiz launcher is incredibly ugly.. so I just use adw launcher ex. Otherwise, it adds some much needed android features on top of very useful apps.
I am back at home, had a bit of an accident at work and busted my foot. Didn't realise I was 2 steps up and went down with something heavy in my arms, ended up damaging the ballish bit under my little toe and it hurts like hell to put any weight on it. The general pain has died down a bit now but it is still a little uncomfortable, bit annoyed really. Gone 25 months without having any time off other than holiday but I am unlikely to be driving now for a few days so got out of going to the inlaws on Saturday! Just done my first online grocery shop as a result as we were due to go tomorrow, lets see how well Sainsburys do with this.
Yeah should be able to swing it. If I am off work tomorrow both the Mrs and child will be out pretty much all day so I have plenty of free time if either of you part timers are around.
It arrived this morning but tomorrow day time is probably the only time I am going to have over the weekend, looks like you will be missing out. That will teach you to go to work won't it!
I have half a mind to not go in, not been feeling too well but I'll probably be better by morning. The game doesn't explain itself well but it's fairly straightforward once you get into it. Just make sure you pick a class you like.
You gullible fool! *I wasn't going to say anything until tomorrow but I think I would feel a bit guilty if you took the day off work and expected me to have the game.
