  1. I guess it's relevant to ask how much you pay a month to see if your internet connection is slower than it should be.

  2. I've never been anywhere that had what I would call a decent internet connection. I can almost always play games fine but there are times that do my head in. I'm currently with sky and got the net in some tv/web combo, I forget how much the web costs me. Also I'm thinking of getting sky done for the blatant bare faced lie they say on their current advert.

"Sky will never slow you down at peak times, no matter how much you use"

Is that why a 6 o clock the internet starts to run like shit? And some games are literally rendered unplayable when my mum starts using he ipad. Blatant lies.

  3. You need to kick your mum out. It's the only way to resolve this.

  4. My internet was fine, even though my flatmate was using up most of it by being on Warcraft most of his time. Now it is off since he did not pay the Sky bill, so I have resorted to using a mobile dongle again, but at least its all mine to use.

Also a question to people who knows about Emulation. I downloaded Final fantasy VII the other week and it would not work, so I deleted it. A few days later I was deleting some stuff and found disk 1 and tried it and got it working. Now with a dongle,. I cannot download the pack again as its well over 1gb and I only have 3gb at the moment. If I downloaded a different FFVII disk 2 iso from somewhere else, will it work with my saved file, or will I need the same Iso which I used for disk 1?

  5. It should work, as long as it's the same region as your original disk. eg PAL NTSC.

  6. I was checking this online and I read somewhere about "Game/file I.D". Hmm, I think it may be right as I had that problem on my PSP last year. I am looking for a file undeleter so I can just get the two disks back.

  7. If you've had any sort of activity on the hard drive where you stored the ISOs since you deleted them, chances are you won't be able to recover them.

File recovery programs work because when you delete a file, the file isn't removed,it's just the reference to it that is, so that space is then available for other files.

If you have used your harddrive since then, chances are stuff has been written over the old sectors and you won't be able to recover it all.

  8. ^^ negative nancy

  9. The zipped folders of the disks were still there, but I could not find the original unzipped versions of them. So I just gave up and started downloading disk 2 and 3 again via the original torrent.

Funnily enough though, this mobile dongle I am using is putting out over 100kbs more download speed than I did with a real internet connection with Sky. Sky broadband has 10 times the Mbps that this dongle has. 1 min and I am already on 10%. Weird, but I am not complaining.

  10. Anyone else having problems with Google maps?

  11. Nope, seems to be fine for me.

  12. Monsly, you should give me that PC version of Grandia 3! Because you love me!!

  13. Well now it's working.

  14. I have Grandia 3 PS2 for the emulator :p

  15. Surely the PC version would be better? Higher res textures and all that jazz?

  16. Probally, but it looks pretty good on pcsx2 @ 2560x1600 with all the AA fuzz enabled running a smooth 60fps (capped).

And as you can view, the game is fully playable on the emulator.

  17. If my PC could run a PS2 emulator you think I would have not started playing it already? Lol. I need a new graphic card and Cpu and motherboard before I even attempt that.

Anyway Hell, how does grandia 3 hold up to the other two grandia's?

  18. You haven't played it? I've not got around to it either so have no idea. I may give up my spare Grandia, I'll think about it.

  19. No never, and I am a big Grandia fan. Extreme, Parallel Trippers and Grandia 3 were never released over here and I don't import so emulation or it ever being released on a PS2store(If it ever happens) would be the only way to play them.

  20. I'm sure I've got a Grandia on the DC somewhere. Rings a bell but I may be confused.
