Yeah it's my work monitor. Since I spend most of the time looking at documents in portrait such as lecture notes or students theses it makes sense to have the monitor portrait too. This is actually a new computer since my previous one broke the day I got back from Christmas, the monitor is indeed really fucking narrow but I'm used to it now. Browsing the forum on this screen is pretty cool though as I can see loads of posts at once. Also Chi, you make I laugh.
Nah we were in the middle of a town. We spent ages changing the tyre only to find both his front springs were fucked. It was not a good night.
I have a spare tyre, a jack AND the thing for undoing the wheels in the boot of my car BUT it doesn't fit my rims as they are not the ones Toyota intended it to be used with it seems. I would have to call whoever it is that does my breakdown cover these days if I blew up a tyre No idea who it is as I get it free from my bank and I am supposed to call them first on a special number. Luckily one of my friends manages a tyre place near by so I can get those sorts of things at a very good price and also the work done for free. A lot of cars these days don't even give you a spare tyre, my friend's focus just came with a can of stuff your supposed to spray on the flat to get you to a tyre place so I am told.
I assume this has happened to you then? I never find myself in the 3rd lane anyway and most of the time just poodle along in the slow lane so would hope that if it did happen to me I would have enough control to get onto the hard shoulder without too much hassle. I assume that no matter where it happens at 60+ mph it is always going to shit you up.
I haven't had a tyre blow on me. I was in a bit of a scrape a few years back though. I'd pulled into the third lane to overtake when the person I was overtaking veered into my lane to avoid someone who'd just pulled out in front of them. Caught the back end of my car. massive gouge along my rear quarter. Fortunately we didn't crash and burn but it was not a fun time.
I am officially moving out tomorrow so I wont be around for a while. Unless I happen to be around a mates house and can use his PC. I might be getting a new job soon too so it may not be for too long until I can get myself a new place.
I'm trying to get my ezcap to record footage from my PS3/360 but I can't find a program that will fucking actually work. Ulead Video Studio 8 - does not work Corel Video Studio Prx X4 - does not work Arcsoft Showbiz (came with ezcap) - does work but it would be better quality if I just used my phone. Can anyone suggest a program that might actually work? I'm sick to death of searching through youtube videos all showing programs/ezcaps that are 3 years out of date. This problem has been plaguing me for a few days now and I'm really getting hacked off at the fact that nothing I try actually fucking works.
Yeah it should be soon. I don't plan on staying long as its sooo boring there. I am buying a PSP and hacking it tomorrow so at least i'll have something to do. Will start Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and FF tactics again. @Grim: No she doesnt, but someone close by has an unlocked internet but its not that great, but I may be able to use my Blackberry for browsing the forum or the PSP.
