  1. I've been ill from eating dodgy food a few times but I don't think I've ever suffered from actual food poisoning which I'm told is really bad, much worse than just feeling shit with diarrhea.

  2. Food poisoning can result in those symptoms as well. There are several different types. Symptoms range from mild to moderate nausea and diarrhea to death in the most severe cases of E. coli or botulism.

  3. I usually just get stomach irritation. Occasionally resulting in streamy poo, but not always. I think it just stopped me up for a few days.

  4. It's like monkey got hold of the topic here lol

  5. Doing my driving license renewal today and because I don't have a newer digital passport the bloody photo's are costing me £5!!!! I don't think the renewal is too bad at £20 but to be charged £5 for a machine to take one photo of me and print 4 tiny images off is a con.

  6. I think I'm due a passport renewal this or next year. About thyme I got one of those new digital ones.

  7. If you have one you can renew the photo on your driving license online and don't have to muck about filling in forms and sending them away with your old photocard and counterpart.

Because I haven't seen my cheque book in over 10 years I am having to get the accounts department to do me one and I will give them the cash.

  8. Not sure whether being at work this week has been a good thing or a bad thing. It has been glorious all week after the cold and wet April + 1/2 May we have had and sitting in the office seems more annoying than ever BUT the air conditioning is nice.

I have the first week in June off (3 days holiday due to the bank holidays), what is the betting things go cold and wet again?

  9. The warm weather's probably due to all the emissions from the vehicles running the torch route and the massive gatherings of people. I've never sweated so much all year!

I've touched a torch so my work is done, now to blissfully ignore the Olympics for two months.

  10. I wasn't aware that the torch had gotten to the Midlands already.

  11. I saw it in Worcester, day 6. When do you get it?

  12. Apparently it hits the high street in Croydon at 12:20 on the 23rd July!

  13. Will you be out waving a flag?

  14. Probably not, probably be at work..

Have to say I did see something unusal when I dropped Little Grim off at school today. They have the flag flying which is something I don't remember ever seeing at a school over here, I know she has a jubilee party at school next week and I have heard they are doing the school up for it so I assume it is for that.

  15. I've never seen that ether, Probably for the Diamond jubilee.

  16. All this queen bollocks is pissing me off. That advert on the BBC particularly boils my piss.

  17. I'm sick of hearing about the Jubilee too. If it's not the jubilee it's the Olympics. Pig sick of hearing about it and even sicker of thinking of the exuberant amount of money that it's costing us as tax payers. Money that would have been better spent on other, more important things.

  18. I'm glad the torch business is done and dusted in my area, Youse poor people have got a couple of month's of torch buzz until it arrives.

  19. I saw Rammstein tonight. It was the best concert I've ever seen in my entire life. Not only do they sound amazing live, but the stuff they do with pyrotechnics is mindblowing. Flamethrowers are a huge part of their act and the stuff they do with them is really elaborate. I think it ruined me to other concerts, because i just don't understand why other bands can't be this awesome live.
