That was fun, Microsoft decided it was time to do a review of our licenses. Typing out product codes for all sorts of server and desktop OS software was a lot of fun!

Just working out how many version we had running of what software was enough of a pain, like I remember which servers are running Server 2003 and which are running Server 2003 R2 or how many copies of Office 2007 we currently have in use.

 

Hey guys. I'm currently at the second trial/learner shift of a new job. I'm taking over from my dad as the print guy in the engineering science department of Oxford University as he's going back to his old workplace. Beats working at The Range lol. Up from £5.95ph to £10ph. Lovely. This also means I can post here on my lunch break. I've never had an office job before, it's bizzare.

I've seen various people come online but no one ever posts anything. I think my active topics is a bit faulty too, some threads have had new posts which I've missed.

 

@chi: I've been busy over the last couple of weeks myself and I've also had Internet issues too. So there.

 

I have finally got all my University offers in, about time as well now I just have to wait another Month before I can apply for Loans and shiz *Sigh*

How much are the Uni's you are looking at charging these days? Are they going for the £6000-£9000 per year that they are now allowed to charge?

No offence but I wouldn't want to be anyone paying back the loans that come with uni fees these days.

 

@Monsly, Southampton Solent, one of those Uni's that used to be a swimming pool.

But apparently there journalism course is pretty good

It will be around three and a half grand for me this year and apparently that will be a fixed rate so I may have just dodged the massive fee hike, here's hoping anyways, paying back £15000- £25000 just isn't a option, but I think you only start paying the loans back when you make over £15000-£20000 a year
