I don't understand it either. They take the s off the end of maths and put it at the end of Lego. Makes no sense to me.

 

I have to admit hearing people say Legos annoys me, it sounds so wrong.

Isn't maths plural? What if you only have one equation to solve? You are only doing math not maths.

 

what if you only have one lego?? well than you have something that you can't play LEGOS with. Lego makes no sense.

 

The full name is mathematics. With an s. If you only have one equation you're doing arithmetic. If I do more than one experiment, am I doing sciences?

And Lego is the brand name. The bricks are called bricks. If you only have one, you have one Lego brick

If I have a lot of Valve games does that mean I have lots of Valves?
