  1. I don't know why all the Microsoft and Nintendo people have all disappeared. I guess the talk in the PS3 section was too sensible and they felt out of place.

It doesn't help that the PS3 section is the only place where people discuss their games and actually play them. Or at least, are the most vocal about it. I didn't see many posts in the Xbox section that weren't about upcoming games and then, when the game did come out, the posting completely died down.

  2. Yes, but i mean that PVC was originally a site/forum where discussions about PC vs Consoles took place (aswel Xbox vs PS etc).

Its not happening anymore, its just some social gaming talk alone. Thats not a bad thing, the Sony only talk, but if we want it more active then we should live up to the forums name, i guess...

Which means we need new members, its all Sony now (and some PC).
Maybe PS4 and X720 will change that though... if the place still exists and if those consoles ever see the light..

  3. The thing is, there's no one to discuss anything with. There aren't many helpful discussions appearing anyway, a lot of them go too far into trolling territory.

  4. I Find this a problem also You start a thread about a Game and only 2 people reply and you only get 10 posts and then the thread dies, sounds stupid but I think we need some trolls just to get a conversation started.

Maybe we could Create some sort of Thunderdome where people can "Flame" each other ect...

  5. We need some topics that people actually search for.

I found the old PVC when searching for a fix or something, I think.

  6. so If I make a Porn thread, a David hasslehoff thread and an Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt thread will be rolling In Hypothetical Posters?

  7. No..... We don't want that kind of member. Maybe we should start a rumour of a new handheld or something.

    The PVCWonderScreen Portable.

  8. All the heat is in the mobile os subject. Console cycles are stretching far too long for any type of real heated battle.. you'll be arguing about the same thing over and over again.

Mobile os/hardware has really picked up in the last few years and changes every few months and there's some real hardcore psycho's in the apple, google, and MS camp.

That was actually the type of stuff i was going to post but there's really no mobile junkies here. Fusion just created a thread on honeycomb and google's issue with fragmentation but no one prob knows much or cares about the subject in this forum. :(

  9. I've just heard Microsoft and Sony are joining forces with Sega and Nintendo to create the ultimate beat-all console/pc hybrid that will boast 55 terra bytes of ram, 89 trillion polygons, plug in mind reading "controller", full stereoscopic 3D visuals and audio, will be the size of a standard 40watt lightbulb and is going to cost £300. Probably.

  10. I just heard that you're a crazy MOFO.

  11. I've been buying and selling a house. It's all consuming.

  12. No it's true, I read if somewhere and it's meant to use less energy than the wii. They're meant to be using the latest Voilet beam Holo-Storage for the games. It's going to be intense.

  13. Don't get your hopes up, it's been said that it's already sold out. They haven't said what it'll be called yet but they're dubbing it "Project Win".

  14. People need to pull out their finger and start creating more threads and topics more!!

  15. There's no point in creating topics for the sake of having more topics. They'll just end up abandoned with 1 or 2 posts.

  16. We need new stuff to happen in the gaming world i.e. new consoles. Or brand new all-amazing games to get us talking. We need more news basically.

  17. Theres new pc hardware pretty regular, which arent discussed either.

  18. Well, that's your job from now on, boyo. Get to it, chop chop!

  19. Indeed. I'd rather we had more focus on quality over quantity - better to have a wider group of people setting up and taking charge of threads rather than a few of the same old people setting up the threads.

I think we've had a few instances of rather odd forumites recreating old threads. Not many but some. Better to have people with a genuine passion, time to devote or expertise to set up certain things rather than do stuff on a first dibs basis. It's early days so it's to be expected I suppose - it's not the end of the world. That's NEXT year.

  20. Like chi says, set it up if you're passionate about it.
