Yes and yes. Some new guy started a "jailbait" thread with pictures of half naked underage girls, some of whom looked to be about 12 or 13. I deleted the thread and IP banned the guy. With all the creeps on the internet I guess it was bound to happen at some point.
Was it an old member under a different guise? Seems a bit of an odd way to start posting on a forum, unless our reputation has hit rock bottom.
The IP address was from the Philippines. This might surprise you, but we're actually trending high in some google searches now. Sushified had no trouble finding us through google. It was probably an actual new member. The internet is a very creepy place. Reddit for instance has had serious problems with people posting pictures of underage girls in some of their subforums. We've been protected for the last two years by our obscurity, but now that we're easier to find, I expect we're going to start getting the usual influx of spammers, trolls, and people posting illegal shit.
My guess is he was attempting to lure in a sexually perverted individual for the purpose of making his victim into a toilet slave.
Weren't we just talking a few days ago about how that thread and being the number one search result for that term was going to bring in a bad crowd? Anyway, yeah I thought it was Booda trolling us again too, but the IP doesn't match.

I am not in central London, you have to take 2 or 3 degrees off London temps to work out what we have here. I am right on the southern edge of london so its not as bad as it would be in the city.
The tube doesn't come here so I only ever use it once or twice a year if I go into London. It takes 15 - 20 minutes by train to get to Victoria from here which should give you some perspective on how far out from the center I am. That is with only a single stop at clapham junction.
here in the southeast, at least in North Carolina, we get rain almost every evening. Not just rain either, some serious thunderstorms. it's not uncommon for it to hail to. It wasn't anything like this last year at this time either. strange junk.
Global warming. I remember when I was a kid we'd get 3 months of solid sunshine in the summer and snow in the winter. Now we get rain in the summer and maybe some snow around march and just clouds the rest of the year.
so Newegg didn't want to sell me a new videocard again so the upgrade is shelved for another time. I did end up getting a 69 dollar Android ICS tablet (rather than fix my laptop which I might do anyway... but for 69 bucks I can afford to do both) 320gig HD for my 14gig 360 my brother sold me (I more bought it to help out a bro who needed money ofc) and a few other things just not the videocard or the 120hz monitor they tempted me with and I just about bought. I figured I could wait another 4 months plus I needed to feed my baseball card hobby I got back in to this summer. Nobody believes me (I hardly believe myself) but we hadn't seen this kind of young talent since the old days of Baseball. Plus they make cards with so much more 'flashiness' now it's unreal. Almost to the point that an autograph is devalued... but it's still pretty cool to have.
