  1. It's the steroids.

  2. Man I love the rain. Too bad I live in a semi-desert area.

  3. I've been getting thunderstorms like clockwork every day at 4PM for the last several weeks. That's typical for this time of year in South Florida.

  4. Nah I doubt it, not when we're talking 20-25 yr olds I mean they still could be but there's limited gain to it at that age plus they don't have large contracts yet so they can hardly afford it.

  5. Don't forget. Driver San Francisco $1 today. It's $30 on Steam.

  6. Suddenly dawned on my while reading through my car insurance renewal docs last night that Admiral class Alloy Wheels as modifications if the base model comes with steel, even if they were installed at the factory. Called Toyota to see if they came on the car as my friend (runs at a wheels/tyre place) said that although they are TSW alloys they were probably options. Toyota can't tell me but they said the original spec of my car just says 15'' wheels, my alloys are 16'' so I am going to have to suspect they are after market. I bought the car with them already on and when my friend said they were likely OEM I believed him.

Called Admiral to update renewal expecting to pay more and it didn't change my renewal at all which is a bonus. Other people have said it usually adds £20-£50 to quotes with admiral but they said it made no difference to mine, maybe because it is garaged anyway and less likely to get nicked as a result.

Worst thing that could happen is that I have a crash and they try to claim my insurance was void because I didn't declare the wheels. Would hate to think how hard it would be to get insurance if you had insurance voided in the past.

The other explaination could be that the 5dr Corolla VVT-i T2 came with alloys as standard so they expected to replace them anyway in a crash. From what I understand insurance care more about the type rather than size/make and they confirmed on phone I wouldn't have to ring them if I changed them. Again Toyota were no help as they no longer make the Corolla and didn't want to dig out an old brochure.

    Result.

  7. I drove by a damm mobile emision detector and now I have to get an emmisions test. I'll probably fail because I have a bad egr valve in the engine. It's a $150 if I buy a new one and replace it myself.

  8. I had no idea that was a thing.

  9. Over here they test your emissions every year at your MOT so they don't exist I guess.

Don't think annual tests are widespread in America so they probably have other ways of checking.

  10. It's a truck on the side of the road. Somehow the thing detects car emissions when they drive by. When a car sets the sensor off the truck takes a picture of the plate and a notice is sent in the mail instructing the owner to get a real test.

  11. So, my Laptop charge has gone missing and I have to fork out more money to get a new one. Does normal computer shops sell them, and how much if they do?(Not PC world and the like as they are based too far away from my location)

  12. ebay. They're different for every laptop, and often overpriced.

  13. I want it tomorrow not on Saturday. I am going town tomorrow with this girl I am seeing so will go around the shops and find the best price if they sell them, and look into getting my keyboard sorted too.

Do all laptop chargers work the same? As my sisters works in mine and its from a different make of laptop.

  14. Computer stores don't sell them, except for the universal kind with adapter tips. But those are usually expensive and crappy. Get it online.

  15. So your sayin you bought rims for your no doubt oldsmobile cutlace sedan and now you gotta either get rid of em or drop some hydrols in and really bump it ghetto style eh? I like the way you roll. pink dice in the mirror riden low on a sunday afternoon.

  16. so you need a charger? what kind of laptop do you have? many HPs use the same charger (same one their printers use in fact) probably lots of dells do to. if you need one tomorrow, is there a craigslist in UK? I'm sure you can find one used via just classifieds if you know what your looking for. There needs to be a craigslist in the uk.
