A root canal would have cost a lot more Private. I was told if I wanted another go before my apisectomy I would have to go to Harley Street and it would have cost at least £700 so I went for the apisectomy at the hospital which was free but horrible. As long as you have the fillings done in the next month or two it will be covered by the £48 price as it is in the middle band. The most you can pay on the NHS is £205 which is for dentures, crowns etc. Band 1: £17.50 - Check-up, cleaning, X-RAY etc Band 2: £48 - Root Canel, fillings etc Band 3: £205 - Bridges, crowns, dentures etc
Checky bastards at Southern Electric have sent me a letter saying 'We are sorry to hear you are leaving but if you do want to go just give us a call and we will make sure things move smoothly'. I don't need to call them, it is just a ploy to try and get me to stay. Seeing as they are still the only one of the big 6 to have raised prices this year I suspect they are losing a LOT of customers. They probably did it hoping others would follow suit but 2 months later no one else has even mentioned it and I think they have to give at least 4-6 weeks notice now.
Had to come to my cousin's kids party 50 miles from home. Not how I like to spend my weekends, kids really ruin your spare time. Doesn't help when you get stuck 4 cars behind an old git doing 40MPH on a national speed limit road for 20 minutes.
How long after you've sold something on ebay and not received payment is it a good idea to contact ebay and cancel everything out? Someone bought my old Core 2 Duo from me maybe three days ago, but never paid, and doesn't respond to emails. I'm thinking I should just cancel the transaction and relist it. Seems like maybe they were a scammer who was hoping I would just send the processor before payment had been received. I should also mention that it was a buy it now, so it's not like the person didn't know they won it.
This is one of the reasons I don't use eBay. That and every bid I've ever out on something had instantly been beaten by someone else. I've not used eBay much at all really, maybe once or twice, but those poor experiences coupled with tales of scammers have left me feeling eBay just isn't worth the time and hassle.
I would just re-list it. I never have a problem with Ebay but it depends on what sort of person bids on the item.
I've never had an issue with ebay. Managed to snipe few items in the closing seconds. No big issues to report.
I think they have 5 days to pay or contact you before eBay will let you do anything anyway. Wait 2 more days and relist for free.
The guy who bought it had also sent me an email earlier asking me to sell it to him outside of the auction for a lower price. I've heard that's supposed to be a big red flag that you're dealing with scammers. But contrary to what Armadeadn just said, most of my experiences with ebay have been positive. The instances where you encounter asshats like this guy are the exception rather than the rule.
I think if he did that you can cancel ASAP. But, I've offered to buy something outside of eBay once, since the seller lived in the same town and it would just be easier.
Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on eBay. As I said I've only used it a couple times. I tried to sell a pretty crappy phone on there once and I just ended up paying money for nothing as no-one bought it. So when I think of eBay I think of a failed sale and always being outbid the second I bid on something.
You bidding noob - just decide what's the most you'd be happy to pay and bid in the last 10 seconds. Seldom fails for me.
Mrs Grim uses ebay a lot, I use it from time to time to grab the odd bargain in my otherwise lavish lifestyle where money flows freely from my wallet.
so he means never. Anyway @Monkey you might need to try it without a buy it now. I can see this scammer buying it now every time now that you've got his attention.
How is it that I wake up this morning and 4 grey hairs are the most obvious things on my head. 4 in a sea of brown. Finding them more regularly now, especially in the sides above my ears.
I would take the piss but this year I have found a few. I am still young so it must be down to stress or something. Not a problem at the moment but when I start turning into a grey fox I may just for men it.
