7 years is a pretty good run for powered speakers. I think I've had my Audio Engine A2s for about 6 years now. The power supply died on them several years ago and when I called the company they sent me a new one for free. No questions asked. But it's pretty rare that I use them anymore. I'm 90% headphones now. Been using the Audio Technica AD900 for several years now as my main set.
Isn't Colorado in general supposed to be a really nice place to live? I'm kind of confused as to why you would want to move.
Well I don't want to move but I think I'd like a career change. Something new and challenging. Ever get tired of your job?
Yeah, but moving from Colorado to the panhandle of Florida is a serious downgrade. It's like going from a Mercedes to a Kia.
I have worked at the same place for 12 years and 7 days, I am very bored of my job but too lazy to do anything about it.
I've come to the conclusion that I could have lived in a teepee on the Great Plains 200 years ago and experienced more personal fulfillment what corporate America currently offers.
I've been to megacon in orlando which is 10 notches lower than comic con. comic con is one of the biggest if not the biggest geek conventions in the US. you should go at least once if you have the chance.
I can stand a bundle of cos players and maybe some light sabers and junk... but an entire convention hall full?? well it also depends on where it is, my experience was in like a Hilton (Marriot) hotel so mixed in with passing business men I was embarrassed beyond recovery. Luckily I didn't pay for it I just hid behind my booth. didn't mingle on my breaks I cried in the corner
Conventions of this size are in huge convention centers. So large that you have to take shuttle buses from the parking lot, or building to building. The attendance is basically double the size of E3 when it was at its prime.
Anyone know of any good ways to convert an m2ts file into an mp4? Vegas won't detect audio on m2ts files.
Have you tried Handbrake? It's free and it's one of the better video converters I've used. http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
Nice one. It took hours to convert a 40 minute file on my laptop but its all good now. Thanks. Luckily I only need to convert the files I've already recorded as I can record future videos straight into mp4 format.
