I found a white flocked Eruptor skylanders giant character and grabbed it for $9. Flipped it on ebay for $115. dude snagged it via buy it now from me within 2 hours of me posting it on ebay. easy money as i have no idea why this stuff is so high in demand. must be crazy collectors.

I recalled the original skylanders spyro's adventure had special rare gold figures. I never figured they would sell this high though. so when I saw these white flocked ones for skylanders giants, I bought it in the store just to ebay it. not until I searched for sold listings that I realized they were able to go for around $100. so I started bidding at $75 and buy it now for $115.

a buyer messaged me an hour in that he would take it off my hands for $75. I didn't respond. An hour after that, someone bit at $115.

 

Nice. I sold two Disney trading cards I got for free for $80. I would have tossed them if someone hadn't told me they were worth big bucks to collectors.

Can someone explain this ridiculous Ebay trend... why are GC's going for over face value? Like a $100 selling for $125. I've seen AMEX, VISA, even Walmart GC's selling for decent markups.

The Walmart is the most unreasonable, because if you're going to the store anyway why not get it at cost there?

What's up with cmdrmonkey and the Crysis 3 thread? He trashes the game as only being worth $10, brags about playing through a pirated copy, then deletes responses to his own comment about the value of the game. I guess this is his new way of trolling the forum: accuse everyone else of trolling the forum.

 

I wish I did not see those pictures, but we cannot fathom losing a un-born child being that we are men and will never carry. No clue.

Never seen it happen but I've seen other things on ebay go for more than retail. I always wonder who's buying that stuff. I mean if you're savvy enough to bid on ebay you can probably shop the freaking Internet.

 

Ebay pisses me off sometimes. My old unofficial I phone charger mysteriously stopped being able to charge after six months and my brand new one of one day won't charge for more than one minute. So I snapped the wire off it. Nothing ever wants to work for me.
