  1. What? I also assumed you were super.

  2. Everyone on holiday lately or something? Its been more dead around here than a run over Squirrel.

  3. I assumed the forum had died

  4. @Phisix I think pointing out that the forum has been quiet for a couple of days is becoming your schtick.

  5. I've been dead for a while. Been super busy - wont settle down for a little bit yet. Still, E3 should liven things.

  6. Maybe I missed you gays. Maybe not.

  7. I keep coming here thinking one of the PS3 owners will have purchased The Last of Us and put up some kind of review along the lines of "Freaking Eternal Masterpiece!!" or "Coma Inducing Landfill Rubbish!!". So disappointing...

  8. Pretty sure it's a June 14th release. but yea, no one has even talked about the reviews that's out for it now.

  9. Apparently I'm staying on a haunted floor of a haunted hotel. I'm not sure if I will sleep tonight.

  10. Mother in law is in the hospital with what's most likely a brain tumor. Her mother also died of Glioblastoma multiforme right around this age. The MR spectroscopy they did today should tell us more about the abnormality they found on the earlier MRI. She had been having memory problems and her behavior had become very strange. I haven't posted because I really haven't been home at all. We're trying to get her affairs in order. Even with some of the newer techniques like stereotactic radiotherapy, the prognosis of glioblastoma is very poor.

  11. I know some of these words.

  12. Don't worry. I'm buying it and you know it's video worthy as I focus on story driven games, and this looks story driven to me.

  13. That sucks, hard.

  14. That would be it then. That's even more disappointing than my PVCF disappointment.

  15. I was talking to chi about The Last of Us last night. The reviews are pretty much all 10/10. I'll definitely be getting it, though the gaming's Citizen Kane spiel worries me.

  16. @cmdrmonkey: Sorry to hear the news, hope things get better for you.

  17. Citizen Kane does seem a bit much. I did see a review on Polygon where the reviewer gave it a 7.5 because he found the game too harrowing/disturbing and stressful to consider it to be "fun" to play.

  18. That Polygon review is the only negative one I've heard about. Hopefully it goes for suspense and atmosphere over action - I'll post up impressions ASAP - probably next weekend

  19. I think there's a place for games like that. The road, in my opinion is a good film, even though it's mostly depressing and disturbing.

I wouldn't watch it more than once in a short period of time but I probably will watch it again.

Games are always full of death and murder but it barely registers so it's nice to have a game that makes you feel something once in a while

  20. They gave a higher score to Remember Me. Doesn't that call their credibility into question a bit?
