  1. Fuck it, I'm gonna buy some TheraFlu... I have really bad childhood memories of that stuff and was hoping it wouldn't come to this but this toussin just isn't working.

  2. Just go to the doc and get that Tamiflu. Here is a $10 coupon.

  3. Amen brother!

  4. The French GIGN is one of the most successful counter-terrorist units in the world. So they have that going for them...

  5. There was a interesting discussion on Reddit about how France actually has the best war record in the history of nations. WW2 is an anomaly for most of the Europe. They were involved in WW1 really didn't recover fast enough to mount a defense for WW2.

Also, France plays up its peace loving surrender monkey image for tourists. They are one of the biggest arms traffickers to shady 3rd world embargoed nations, through an intermediary of course.

  6. Those damn frogs, biding their time for world domination.

  7. They also like to overthrow their own government every so often.

  8. Not sure why anybody would overthrow a government that gives out free cake.

  9. Totally agree there.

  10. I need a new car battery. I think I'll get an Intersate from Costco.

  11. Can't go wrong with Interstate. I think the Costco Kirkland batteries are the same OEM though...

I physically went back to work today for the first time since Dec 18th. Not an enjoyable experience, felt like the first day at a new job. The whole "working from home" scam last week is where it's at. I need to get a full time WFH job like all those people who brag about it on Facebook.

  12. I had planned on getting the Kirkland battery. It always ranked #2 in consumer reports. Sadly they stopped selling them a couple of months ago. From what I read Costco was taking it in the rear with their 4 year full replacement warranty. People would exchange their still working batteries for brand new ones at 3.9 years. Diehard is really good but my local Sears closed for a remodel and wont reopen for another year.

  13. I've never had pickled eggs before. I'm thinking about making my own just to try them.

  14. My SiriusXM is coming up for renewal... I can't believe how addicted I am. I actually though it was stupid and let it lapse after the free promo. I think I had legit withdrawl symptoms when they called up and gave me another 6 months for $25.

I'm not sure I can go back to terrestrial and CDs, but $20/mo to listen to radio is also obscene.

  15. It's nice but I just can't justify it. I'm probably in my car less than 2 hours a week. If I had an hour commute every day I'd pay for it. I recall a show called chocolate radio that was interesting.

  16. Trollers gonna troll. Shouldn't be off-limits IMO.

  17. "Look, the evil Westerners arrested someone for Facebook! The West is corrupt! Come join your freedom loving brothers in glorious and liberty loving Russia!" - Love, Glen and Vlad.

  18. Not a West thing, I don't think he'd be arrested in the USA. We don't arrest Westboro here, who are the worst in my opinion. Freedom of speech is supposed to protect you from the government. It doesn't protect you from a deserved ass whopping though. THIS is the appropriate response:

  19. France has a law that makes it illegal to condone terrorism, so his Facebook post certainly fell into that general area. He also has a past history with incitement of various kinds, so it's not like he's just some random citizen.

The "West" reference is due to you reading the Intercept. Glen Greenwald is an anti-West dupe.

  20. That dude is an obvious troll and a giant asshole. But you'd have to get a 50XXL pair of stretchy pants to fit that comment into condoning terrorism.

I got the link off FB, I'm not familiar with the site itself. Jon Stewart did a bit on it now:
