Got the date to have my Tonsils ripped out, 21st April so something to look forward to.

It should be quite a bit warmer by then so at least I can spend my 2 weeks off feeling warm.

I actually frequent here multiple times a day. I just don't post. Not much to say. I could mention that Raleigh got a piece of that snow storm recently but the northeast got hammered like no tomorrow so it's not even worth mentioning.

i still play wow. most recent other game i've played was dying light.

I still haven't owned any consoles since XBOX, PS2, GC generation. I still use the same pc system from last year (i5 4670K, geforce gtx 770). I leveled up my monitor recently to a 32" samsung 2560x1440 and use my old 27" 2560x1440 as a dual display.

I bought a 64GB sandisk extreme usb 3.0 flash drive over the holidays and was floored that it transfers over 100MB/sec. it's faster than my usb 3.0 hdd's.

other than this, only other mentionable thing i've done is set up 2 chromecasts in my parents' house (upstairs and downstairs televisions). they use it with their chromebook and love it.

 

WoWs old hat now, it's all about Final fantasy 14.

 

tell that to the subscriber base of wow vs subscriber base to all other mmo's combined.

I regret not buying a Catleap off ebay years ago. People kept telling me to wait for 4k. But between quality issues, feature issues, and pricing, I could've been enjoying 1440p for years now.

 

The only issue I've had with mine is the cheapo external ac power it comes with. It's a really cheap made in china unit which has already died on me. Second one died as well and I'm on my third. It's cheap enough that it doesn't bother me much but the problem is that there isn't really any high quality replacement available since it uses such an obscure connector. Monoprice has cheap alternatives to this catleap if you were still interested in a cheap solution. They're based in the US so there's no surprise customs fee.

 

Holy shit, I thought that dress debate was fucking stupid and it was obviously white and gold. Now that I slept for a few hours, it's clearly blue and black. What sorcery is this?

 

The original blue and black dress would never look like that under any lighting condition.

It may be either a camera without an IR filter or heavy editing.

I'm not sure on what world people see something gold and think it's black.

Under real world visible lighting, the dress is white and gold with a colour cast from being in shadow

 

Unless this dude trolled me and changed the pictures overnight, I shit you not, the exact picture looked white and gold. Now it clearly looks blue and black.

 

But there isn't any black on the dress
