Unless I've been inceptioned, I distinctly remember small celebrations in the Paterson NJ area. Like a small group of less than a dozen people. Firecrackers, dancing, and flag flying. It wasn't JC and it certainly wasn't thousands upon thousands. But Trump may not be as crazy as they are making him look.

Well Russia just gave them the finger the last 10 times Turkey warned them about flying in their air space so it's not like a totally surprise they finally shot one of their jets down. To be honest I'm surprised a Turkey pilot was able to get a drop on a Russian one.
The Su-24 is a light bomber very similar to the F-111. The F-16 is a high speed interceptor. The F-16 was doing exactly what it was designed to do: destroy Russian bombers. Also Turkey is a NATO member. I wouldn't under-estimate their pilots. A Mig-29 or Su-27 vs an F-16 would have been interesting. I'm a bit surprised the Su-24 was flying without a fighter escort.
Some conservatives are now openly calling Trump a fascist. I know he's popular with the people but I have my doubts that he will be picked by the party even if he wins the popular vote. I think that's why Bush is still in the race. He' hoping he'll be the default candidate when they finally say no to Trump.
I don't think Bush can win the actual election. They may be forced to pick Trump because he's the only candidate they have who can win at this point. Republicans already lean heavily towards fascist ideals. Trump is just unapologetic and open about it.
