Are the kids adopted? Are they biological kids but the dads are late in life gay dudes? So confused by this. The game is 33% off on Steam. Maybe I should explore this confusion further.
So the guy who runs neoGAF might be a rapist, and neoGAF has shut down. Didn't visit it that much, but I know it was a pretty big deal in the world of gaming. https://www.polygon.com/2017/10/22/16516592/neogaf-tyler-malka-evilore-allegations-shutdown
I got a broken tail light on the car. I can get a new tail light from eBay for $47 or I can file an insurance claim and pay the $50 deductible. Going the eBay route I'd have to install it myself and there is always the risk of getting a wrong part from the seller. Going the insurance route means I'd have to file a claim, get the car inspected, and schedule an appointment with a mechanic. Which option is best? I don't know how difficult it will be to replace the light. Sometimes they are easy and sometimes not.
I don't know how insurance works in the US but if you claim won't you have an excess and it push your renewal up next year? When you say broken do you mean the actual cluster and not just the lamp?
There are 2 types of claims. Collision and comprehensive. Collision is a collision and rates can go up. Comprehensive is everything else like vandalism and weather. Rates wont go up. I just ordered the tail light. There are only two easily accessible screws holding it in. Doing it myself should be less of a hassle.
A $50 deductible is too low. It's not worth involving the insurance company under $250-500. So much unnecessary paperwork and time.
you should be able to file your claims online. I have State farm and did everything online and never had to see State farm in person.
Nah. The math works out. Never been in a collision. Had my parked cars hit 3 times, broken into, stolen, and hailed on. I'm ahead on that one.
Over here we get scammed on a yearly basis when it comes to insurance, prices are ridiculous but because it is the law you have to have it. Insurers are always looking for ways to put up your premium or cancel it in the case of a claim, such as for example if you didn't tell them your job description changed, that's a good one for them not to pay out on. And then because you have had insurance cancelled you will be lucky to get insurance next year that isn't a 4 figure sum. I have never claimed nor have I ever been in an accident but that didn't stop my premium going up £400 when I changed to a newer car, luckily I managed to find another insurer who was closer to my old corolla price. Excess is generally £250 on any claim if not more if you have a higher voluntary to bring premium down and any claim will get you a higher premium next year as you have to declare it. Also even if you are in an accident that isn't your fault your premium will go up as apparently you are now 'statistically' more likely to be in another crash even if caused by another idiot. All motoring offenses push your premium up, by how much depends on the offence, and even going on a driver awareness course will not have to be declared if you get one instead of penalty points. Basically we get fucked.
