Since "Buh?" is a noise made by someone who's confused rather than an actual word from the English (or any) language it's not really evidence. Things that irk me. Schedule: We say shed-yule. You say sked-yul. Unfortunately this one has become so common in your tv shows even some English people get this one wrong. Aluminium We say al-you-mini-um. You say a-loo-min-um. The second i isn't silent you know. Twat We say twat. You say twaaht. Spelling. You spell colour, color. WTF? You spell realise, realize. Ok yours might make more sense on this one but it's wrong nonetheless. And so on. Another thing that bugs me is when I'm typing on websites of US origin I constantly get little red squiggly lines under my words telling me I (an English person) am spelling words incorrectly, when it is in fact the system that is wrong and I am right.
Are they even still around, I thought everyone hated Through the Fire and the Flames enough that they might have given up?
Shut your mouth! Through the Fire and Flames is awesome. I've only heard a couple of their albums and they've recently got a new singer. I only brought it up because I tried to make a video in 2009 for youtube featuring that song but the sound was disabled due to the label being gay. But now they've struck a deal so my video has finally seen the light of day on youtube, with the sound intact.
Its one of the most cheesy songs ever written, its right up there with Livin' on a Prayer but it was so released in the wrong decade. In the world of metal that existed in the 00's Dragonforce were sooo out of place.
You can't deny the mentalist guitar skills though, and Herman Li said he loosely based his riffs on the old Nintendo style of music, once you know that it suddenly becomes rather obvious in some of their songs.
I can because the guitarists name is Herman which means that he was bullied as a child, couldn't go outside and so spent all his time 'tapping' in his bedroom.
Jon Bovi's Hardrock, not metal. But I still love Livin' on a Prayer, such a good song. WOAH! I have some dyslexia today. BON JOVI, was what I meant to type. Oh wait, I've mistaken what you have written, I see you just meant that it was a cheesy song, not that it was metal. Also, if you want cheesy, listen to any of Man'owars stuff. That's the definition of cheesy.
Lol at Jon Bovi. The weather Is awesome today shame I'm In a bad mood as I've lost my memory card with a load of DS games On it
Hmmmmmmmm.. Since I placed the order for my laptop I could see it pending on my bank account because my available balance dropped the same difference as the laptop price from my current balance. Today my current and available are the same but the money hasn't come out and the laptop has been shipped. How very odd... No pending payment and a shipped laptop, am I being too optimistic that they might have messed this one up and not actually charged me? Considering it was pending and its now disapeered something defiantly seems to have gone wrong somewhere. Anyway surely they wouldn't ship it until they had payment? Still if they had now requested it I would again expect to see it pending from my account. Perhaps the first pending was based on a check they did to make sure the balance was available and they will actually request the money now that they have shipped the unit? There was a 2 hour delay between placing the order and getting the confirmation which they said was to check that the funds were available.
