Its Michael Angelis, gosh, don't you know anything? My daughter has the Pierce Brosnan episode on DVD, it just sounds odd and kind of ruins the whole thing.
I didn't know they showed Thomas the Tank Engine in the states. I had a huge Thomas toy when I was little, probably around 4-5 years old. It came with big chunky tracks so you could build a route around the living room. The toy was pretty big, it was about the size of my torso at the time! Epic toyage.
That sounds like what I had! I also had lots of smaller toys of the engines as well. Ahh... memories.
They still sell loads of Thomas toys, my daughter has a few of them with her Brio train stuff. They don't come cheap, I think some of the bigger engines like Gordon and Henry cost nearly £20 in the Early Learning Centre.
Michael Angelis does the UK version and Michael Brandon does the US version. I have no idea why they narrate the show twice in the same language. George Carlin ruins it too. I keep expecting Thomas to drop an F-bomb.
Bloody hell. I started a thread on the black ops forum and in 6 hours there were over 20 pages of debate. It was about proper spelling and grammar, or the lack thereof, on the internet. It split the forum nicely. It started with an off the cuff statement I made that resulted in me creating this thread. It's easily the most interesting topic that's been posted there in the last month. I had to bow out because the flaming became too much. I think it's still raging though. Here's the link if you want to see what all the fuss was about. http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=497289&start=0 (topic now deleted) I think I got my point across. My username is Harperlarp, just so you know what I was saying.
i have friends that spell and use proper grammar. but they sure as hell don't pay attention to what they type (as simple as it is). swype and autocorrect keyboards on phones makes it even worse. although it does create some hilarity.
Hilarity indeed. By the way that topic was deleted because after I left the two main people I was "debating" with also left. Then it got a little off topic. Something about rubbing suncream onto someone's 43 year old mum. Shame, it was an interesting topic. I was arguing that the laziness/ignorance of people purposefully spelling words wrong was dumbing down my native tongue, which it is. The other guys were arguing that I was a troll. It's nice to be among some decent, normal folks again.
Don't know if anyone is aware (or cares) but Stella Artois have released a Cider. Although they're adamant it's not cider, it's cidre. It tastes like Magners.
This is my personal favourite from damnyouautocorrect.com And that Stella Cidre tastes nothing like Magners to me; it's like a cheap bottle of Woodpecker Cider. Absolutely vile..
I like how we regard Stella as some high class imported beer, but for the Brits it's basically cheap shit that's probably the equivalent of Coors or Natty Ice. Their food may be garbage, but I'm guessing that being European, they have access to far better beer than we do in the US.
Lol Stelle is often referred to as wife beater juice, because the most common people in the UK drink it. It has been re-branded somewhat now though. We have access to lots of gorgeous Belgian beers and German beers in most bars. I wonder why the US beers (the popular stuff at least) is so damn light..
LOL. I always knew Arnie had to have women on the side. Maria Shriver looks like skeletor and he just married her for her political connections.
