    I use IE7 because Hulu doesn't play well with Google on my netbook and it indubitably does not have a speel chekar. Nope.

    Firefox was auto uninstalled from my computer because it “wasn’t secure” and IE8 isn’t approved yet. It’s 1984 all over again.

    Wireless network nerds I have a question: my modem seems to be downloading when I run speedtest but it fails when it does the upload part. I've reset the box a few times but it's always the same; is this a network issue by the looks of it? Never had it pass one part but fail the other before.

    You could have an upstream fault, if so browsing the internet will either be very slow or impossible if it has completely gone. Best hope you don't get India if you call VM, they try to say they don't support upload as they are rubbish.

    Been on VM support for an hour to an Indian call centre. Not convinced this is going anywhere fast. DL speeds are all over the show; from fails to 3000kb to 12000kb. Upload normally fails or gets ~30kb. Hmmmmm.

    VM get a lot of that, its an excuse I have heard many times during my time with them. An old network that can't cope + VM luring more customers everyday with promises of super fast fibre optic broadband + a lack of money to upgrade anything = lots of area faults.

    Religion and politics, yeah, they always go well together. I wonder how long it is before religion causes yet another serious problem in the world, not long I'll wager.

    Dictatorship is really the best thing for Arab countries. They aren't ready for democracy. They're too primitive and barbaric, and basically stuck in the Middle Ages. You give them any kind of choice and you'll have religious crazies in power who want to stone women and blow up airliners. Maybe some day they can abandon their stupid, violent religion and join the rest of the world in the 21st century. But until then they need to be ruled with an iron fist to keep them in check.

    All religions are stupid, but Islam is definitely one of the worst because it doesn't even attempt to conceal that it teaches hatred and violence.
