That's a new one. Not quite as good as claiming that iPhone sales increase due mainly to peer pressure, but, hey, that one will always be hard to top.
The only hardware upgrade I can think of that has significantly less options for Mac than PC is video cards. I'm not really sure what you're talking about in regards to licenses. For software, yes, Windows has a greater selection...but you can still run Windows on Macs. All you do is set up a separate boot option with Boot Camp Assistant. That's what I'm talking about though in regards to cmdrmonkey. There's no question that iOS and iPhone have greater software selection than Android currently, so if you can recognize that Windows has greater software selection, then....
not really interested in making an argument (passed my former attempt... sometimes I just can't help myself lol... I'm sure you get that a lot) but just to clear myself up, you can install windows onto macs only BECAUSE they have become x86 now. Let's change the argument for the sake of discussion, the x86 architecture CLEARLY paves the way to more options than the traditional Mac architecture... perhaps that's why apple abandoned it in the first place. Anyway that's just how I understood it, less about Apple vs. MS, but more about Mac architecture in the 90's vs x86.
I think Intel just had a better chip roadmap for performance/energy use than IBM. For example, IBM never figured out a way to get the G5 to perform well enough for use in Apple's laptops, which doesn't really cut it for a company that was already selling more laptops than desktops by 2004. Apple already knew that desktops were in decline compared to more mobile types of computers.
What the f? So tommy wiseau went to legendary status with his movie and is now doing net skits of himself playing video games?
That really isn't a fair comparison then. Tethering for free violates all carrier agreements I know of except T-Mobile and MetroPCS. @Khaid: Thanks. That is exactly what I'm looking for. Although, it costs money. I need to check out iPhone piracy options before I get it. I've been able to get everything on Android for free so far (mainly courtesy of Amazon).
I stand by my comments on that matter lol. Although since then I've played Uncharted and I can see it's not a Gamecube punching game. I've also learned that the official term for Gamecube punching game is hack and slasher, hate that gameplay. Most of the games I played on the Gamecube happened to be shitty hack and slashers.
All I saw was Nathan Drake running around beating people up with what looked like (and turned out to be) a very boring and unsatisfying fighting mechanic.
Fighting is such a small part of GTA though, when I saw the video of Uncharted it seemed that fighting played a pretty large part of the game.
Wait...you said you hate Hack and Slashers...so you hate the Devil may cry and Ninja Gaiden series then?
I played the first two Devil May Cry games and I played Ninja Gaiden on the xbox, I thought both were really boring. Just mindlessly mashing buttons to kill enemies.
