  1. Lindsay Lohan to pose for Playboy.

That might have done something for me back in 2004 when she was hot. But she's been hitting the meth pipe so hard is recent years all I can say is meh.

  2. omg, not to mention her teeth are rotting

  3. They'll have to airbrush 20 pounds on her.

  4. Reportedly they offered her $750,000, she wanted $1m so they compromised at about $850,000 plus an 8 ball.

  5. Yeah she's definitely got a bad case of meth face. Playboy's photoshop guys will have their work cut out for them.

How is she 25? She's got the forehead of a 60 year old man. Don't do hard drugs kids!

  6. Looks very much like heavy meth abuse. She may not live much longer. She'll destroy her looks (what's left of them). She's unlikely to ever stop her self-destructive behavior. Borderline PD.

  7. Absolutely. She's classic borderline.

  8.
  9. Best Buy are shutting all 11 UK stores it opened in the last year or so because it isn't making any money. I never even went into the one here.

They initially said they wanted to open 200 odd stores across Europe but from what I heard they were never very competitive on prices so I can understand why it failed. People are always going to stick with the established stores they know and the car parks to Curry's, PC World and Comet are always pretty busy when I drive by.

I assume they do TV's and audio equipment too but I think everyone in the business now knows they can't compete with the prices Richer Sounds offer.

  10. Best Buy has crap prices in the US too. The only people who shop there are morons who don't know that everything is cheaper online.

  11. I browse at Best Buy sometimes as it's the only tech shop left in town. It's the only way to see a TV off-line these days. I'll also pre-order games from them as they often have the best box deals.

  12. Compusa is surprisingly good since they went bankrupt and got bought out by Tigerdirect. They have a good selection and their prices are competitive with newegg. I usually go in there to look at things, and sometimes I buy if they're having a sale.

  13. Funny enough, Best Buy is one of the cheapest places to get HDD's right now. bahahha. I also buy my cell phones directly at best buy. You don't have to deal with silly MIR's that carriers make you submit.

Best Buy also runs their own deals on top of the carriers' so you can get ridiculously low prices sometimes. I got my htc evo for $99 when it was $199 everywhere.

  14. I bought my current Sharp Quattron at Best Buy. The sale price was actually pretty close to the cheapest online deals at the time, and the in-store pickup option has some convenience advantages compared to internet dealers. That may be the only item I've purchased from Best Buy in the last several years though...

  15. I got my TV as a discontinued floor model at compusa. $800 for an LG 52" 1080p/120hz LCD that was $1500 on newegg at the time (two years ago). I still haven't seen a deal that good anywhere on such a large TV. Compusa used to suck balls, but ever since they became part of TigerDirect, they rock.

I've never seen good prices on TVs at my local Best Buy. Everything is MSRP.

  16. I only go to best buy out of extreme desperation. I don't really enjoy paying 4x retail pricing, but sometimes they are the only place that can provide instant gratification.

  17. Whats the difference between 1080p and 1080i?

  18. Both are essentially 1920x1080 resolution. The difference is in the scanning technology. i stands for interlaced, and p for progressive scan. Basically interlaced displays rapidly alternating sets of lines that trick the eyes into seeing a complete image, while progressive just displays everything at once. Progressive scan is superior.

I said 1080i is "essentially" 1920x1080 because each of the interlaced frames is actually 1920x540, but to the human eye it should look like 1920x1080 in motion.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you buy a really old TV. The early HDTVs from the early 2000s that were CRTs or projection were 1080i. Modern HDTVs are either 720p or 1080p.

  19. Here's the TV. Still can't get over how cheap it was for the size and quality.

I need to wall mount the speakers and get a nice cabinet for my PS3.

  20. Beast! But I hate LG.
