It just became SERIOUSLY windy and rainy over here in Oxford almost out of nowhere. I actually saw someone get blown over just now, for reals.
I probably would, I get around 35 days off a year and even that isn't enough. 25 holiday 8 bank holiday (9 this year) 2 closed days over Christmas
Tell me about it. I hate the next business day after New Years Day. Christmas is over and nothing but gloomy weather for the next 4 months. Worst time of year.
I like winter before Christmas because it feels as if it is supposed to be cold and everything should be covered in snow because Christmas is coming. The 2 or 3 months that follow, well it just feels like Winter in these months has no purpose. Saying that we had a stupidly warm March/April last year so it wasn't so bad. We also had a really bad early winter which we didn't get this year so I very much expect things to be different, probably get snow at the end of February which will drag on into early spring. It is my birthday in a couple of weeks so that is something to look forward to I suppose. Today hasn't been that bad, kept myself busy and it is home time in 30 minutes but I expect the days to start dragging sooner rather than later.
Romney and Santorum are now beating Mr. Paul. This is because everyone born in the 50's is retarded and are bleeming up the vote since every stoner, educated internet-user, recent college graduate, everyone under 50 years old and every college kid is voting for Mr. Paul.
My new xbox is playing in a strange resolution. It seems to default at 1360 x 768, a resolution I've not seen before. I'm thinking I should switch back to 1080p yes?
That resolution is normally used on 720p hdtv's.. well more like 1366x768. Not sure why your x360 is at that res though. Is there a setting that allows you to select resolutions? I've never had hands on with an x360 before.
Romney won Iowa Obama will win again Puppets will win again Foreign bankers will win again of course :|
Guys like Ron Paul need to wear body armour :/ If he ever gets anywhere I wonder how long it will be until the bankers decide to kill him
Yep. The list used to look like this. But since I got my new slim xbox it has two new resolutions under those ones including the odd one I mentioned earlier.
Its not an odd one, its a resolution a lot of 'HD Ready' 32'' and below TV's used 5/6 years ago. I paid £1300 for a 32'' Panasonic Viera with that resolution and one HDMI port!
My work comp totally broke on me yesterday. I noticed that I'd not received any emails since Dec 16th and when I turned the machine off it simply broke, wouldn't start up again. This is a pain in the arse but not too bad since term hasn't started yet and I can still reproduce the hard copies of the lecture example sheets in time for next week. Plus I@m getting a new computer out of it, it had better have Windows 7 on it! I needed a new mouse anyway, the ball was sticking on the one I've been using. That's right, a ball mouse.
You could have asked for a mouse, I am sure the IT department could have managed to find you a £3 piece of kit. As for Windows 7, don't be so sure. Academic institutions are some of the worst at upgrading and might not want to pay for the new licenses if the get them in a volume license scheme.
