People like Marting Lewis moan when people complain about Gas and Electricity prices without looking to switch but when they make it so bloody complicated I am not surprised no one does. I am with South Electric who are decreasing Gas prices by 4.5% but not until the end of March whereas everyone else (EDF and nPower) are doing it at the start of February. My standard gas and electricity prices are currently cheaper than other suppliers in my area but my standing charge is a little higher. So I go on the comparison sites, put in my usages based on my winter bill and it comes up and says x, y and z will be cheaper. But looking into it the site bases in on what I have put in, obviously I am burning gas for fun at the minute whereas for 6 months of the year my boiler will hardly be on. Then it gets even more complicated as some suppliers charge less for the standing charge but then more for each unit, if you use a lot like I am at the moment then those suppliers in theory will end up more expensive right? Then there are the tariffs with NO standing charge but you pay 'a' amount for the first y units, and then 'b' amount for the next z units. 'a' is obviously a lot higher than I am paying at the moment but 'b' is lower, how can I guarantee I will use enough gas or electricity to get my monies worth out of one of these tariffs? What if I only use 30 units over 'a' and in the end it all ends up costing me more?? I fucking hate energy companies, they make it complicated on purpose I tell you! /rant
They really are a bunch of crooks. In the past 2 years prices have gone up well over 20% and now that the winter is ending they are putting them down around 5% which is obviously just a ploy to make it look like they are playing fair. Of course they have vowed that there will be no more rises before October 2012 which ofcourse is when the winter starts! 15% rises again before the end of the year? Energy prices went up massively at the start of the recession and our prices went up to match, then they went down but our prices stayed the same and the big 6 as they are known over here all made stupid profits. About 6 months ago one of them announced they would increase gas prices by about 18% and electricity by about 7% so of course they all followed suit. They are pretty much a cartel, we all know that behind the scenes they all work together to make sure they make as much money out of us as possible. All it would take is one of them to drop their prices to a level no one else would dare go to and everyone would switch to them meaning we all get good prices and they get good profit. Energy prices and car insurance prices are becoming a joke over here.... My brother doesn't use his heating anymore, says its too expensive, takes the risk on getting damp in his flat and wears more jumpers.

It's sounds like they are saying I can't return it but then they say I can ship it to them. Lastly they want me to sell it to a friend. Edit: Okay I just figured out GBP is British pounds so shipping is $30 dollars. Perhaps they want me to pay for the original shipping cost...again.
Yes. Seems like these are the key points: 1. They don't normally take refunds, but will make an exception. 2. If the item is not damaged they will charge you shipping and admin fee of $30 3. They aren't responsible for damage in transit (which would actually help you with #2) 4. Please don't bother them and sell it on ebay.
My 1st dumbphone (LG) went unresponsive a bit ago and I got it from HK... I'm just not bothering with the return lol not picking this fight either... too far and too many language barriers. If it's not something brand new I'd eat it, just take it and sit on it I say.
