  1. I don't think so....

I'm intrigued to know the reason for your lack of appreciation for the people of Newcastle.

  2. Ok. But remember these are gross generalisations.

    1. Most Geordies I've met seem incapable of ending a sentence without adding the word "man" at the end. This pisses me off a little bit.

    2. Most Geordies I've met seem completely incapable of saying the word "Mum". Instead they choose to be the only people in Britain to pronounce it "Mam". This pisses me off a little bit.

    3. Most Geordies I've met have that God awful accent. This pisses me off a little bit.

    4. Most Geordies I've met are borderline Scottish. This pisses me off a little bit.

    5. Most Geordies I've met simply speak a bastardised version of English rather than being normal and speaking actual English like the rest of us. This pisses me off a little bit.

    6. Most Geordies I've met inexplicably constantly refer to themselves in the plural sense. Example.

    I start tickling a Geordie.

"What you doing to US man? Leave US alone man!"

This pisses me off a little bit. Happy?

  3. armadeadn is the british version of cmdrmonkey

  4. You said it.

  5. That's an absolute load of fucking rubbish..man.

So what? I think you'll find that nearly everyone in the North of England will use the term mam, it's not just from Newcastle; it's said in Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Humberside...

I could name three more far annoying; Scousers, Brummies and people from Hull all have a far more annoying accent. What you also forget is that the language in the North East, as far as York even, is heavily influenced by Norwegian, Swedish and Danish (hint: the vikings came here)

Again, another load of absolute cobblers but something not entirely unique to the region..infact, I'm fairly sure I've heard cockneys use the same thing..

Ya tarkin' shyte man (You're talking shite man)

Actually, you should be kissing geordie balls..interesting facts for you.

    1) We pretty much kickstarted the industrial revolution (Coals to Newcastle is a phrase use all over the fucking world)

    2) We built the best ships in the world; up to quite recently, 1 in 3 ships in service were built on the Tyne

    3) We invented the train - ask an American how useful that little contraption was.

    4) A geordie invented the lightbulb (not fucking eddison who had to pay Swan a lot of money for "copying his idea) - the first house and street to be lit electrically were in Newcastle - the house is five mins away from mine in Low Fell and the street is Clayton St. in Newcastle

    5) Admiral Collingwood - the man who really won the battle of Trafalgar came from Newcastle (Nelson was dead)

    6) Mark Knopfler - nuff said

And for our American chums - Butch Cassidys mother came from Benwell, in Newcastle upon Tyne

Oh and I can't remember the guys name but someone here pretty much found all the coal in kentucky.

We'll forget about Ant, Dec and Sting tho

  6. Ichi, you hear who we are about to sign? Finally a new striker: Papis Demba Cisse.

Europe here we come. Just need Cissokho and a Cb now!

It was made official around 9:30pm last night. We finally have a strike force we can be proud about.

  8. The season is nearing its end now and everything is going great. We are currently joint 4th with Tottenham with 59 points and we have won our last five. Europa should be guarrenteed by now but a push for CL is very real, but no matter if we do not.

Next season is looking great from the way this season is going.

  9. Newcastle played excellent. I wouldn't be suprised if they end being fourth (or probably third seeing Arsenal's dismal display).

  10. The most important football story this season is Southampton coming back to the premiership. It's been a while indeed.

Cisse: He scores when he wants! GOTS!

Two games left and the race for 3rd is still on!

  12. Chelsea were poor last night and got smashed 4-1 by Liverpool and thus making sure that the lowest we can finish this season is 5th. Not bad for a team relegated 3 seasons ago and in our second season back. We also still have a chance on finishing in a CL place depending on us winning and Tottenham and Arsenal drawing or losing.

  13. What a finish to the season. Unlucky for grim, ichi and phisix's teams in the end but at least you can look forward to getting some points off Southampton next season.

  14. Yeah an annoying end to the season, especially when the manager of the year Pardew picks 4-4-2 over 4-3-3 and we go on to get played all game.

Looking forward to what more quality players we can sign and Europe once again next season.

Our new away kit looks awesome too, but I will miss the sexy orange one from this season.

  15. What happens if Chelsea wins the champions league? Is it spurs who'll miss out or you guys?

  16. Spurs lose out.

  17. Spurs get pushed down to the Europa league and we go down to more qualifying rounds I think, but as it stands we just have to win one match to get to the Europa group stages.

If Chelsea lose I think they get Europa too.

  18. I think it works like this if things stay as they are....

    1-4 Champions League
    5th Europa League
Chelsea Europa League (FA Cup Winners)
Liverpool Europa League (Carling Cup Winners)

IF Chelsea win the Champions League then they go into that and Spurs get the place in the Europa League normally reserved for 5th. Because the runners up in the FA cup were Liverpool who already had a place in the Europa League due to winning the Carling Cup then the place will go to the next team in this case Newcastle.

IF Liverpool had not won the Carling Cup then IF Chelsea win the CL Newcastle would not have gotten Europa League.

  19. Rumour is 'King Kenny' has gone and Liverpool are refusing to comment.

Would be a shame if he has as its has been nice seeing him turn them into a really average team.

  20. Indeed. Hopefully he is not gone as would love to see what quality signings like Downing, Adam, Henderson and Carroll he would sign this summer.

Hazard has come out and said he will be joining a team in blue in the Premiership this season. Chelsea or City I would think. Both teams I would hate him to join.
