I have a feeling that Man Utd have blown the title race. As an Arsenal supporter, it really pains me to say that Chelsea might pip it. But nevertheless, my support for Arsenal is still strong until the maths is completetly out of the question for them to win the league.
United have strolled into the final then - Shalke really didn't recover from the first leg at all. Now's the time to find the best odds for Barcelona I reckons. What's the best odds I could expect on the high street? I bet grim knows, the gambling bastard.
You sour puss. I'd like United to win as they're the English team but winning some cash for a loss would sweeten things.
They don't deserve to win as Barcelona has been playing some great football this year. I don't mind who wins really, but if real did next to nothing against Barcelona then Manure don't stand a chance. Should be a great match though. What date is it on?
Eh? Don't deserve to win? United have been strong in Europe this year so they obviously deserve a chance to win. Hopefully we have a great final with a deserving winner but I've seen more dire finals than great ones it must be said.
I really don't know which game you were watching but in that first leg with RM Barca lost all the respect I ever had for them. They are a bunch of cheating, diving, card waving scum bags.
Eh? What are you referring to from my post, you mad man? More importantly, where's your gambling guidance? Tsk!
Damn I must have pressed the wrong reply button, I was meant to reply to Phisix. As for betting Barca are 10/11 so its not really going to be worth it unless you want to put a lot of money on it. £10 will only win you about £9 so unless your going to put £100 on it I wouldn't bother. Even then it is only about £90 winnings which isn't much to risk £100 for. Might be better off putting £10 on United who are 3/1 which would net you £30 winnings.
You and your slap dash posting. I consider betting on Barca to be the equaivalent of paying for a victory. I nearly did it when arsenal got to the final but didn't get around to it. I could be tempted to put £40 on Barca then - would I get those sort of odds on the high street or am I better off registering somewhere online?
I don't see a £33 win as being worth a £40 bet. Betting is no fun unless the odds are long and the payout is worth it. £10 on United will get you the same result and if you get it wrong you have only lost £10, if Barca lose and you lose £40 I bet you will not be happy. Remember this isn't a two legged tie, this is a one off final where anything can happen. If you do want to take it 10/11 was on Skybet, Ladbrokes are offering 4/9 so I would stay clear of them.
Hmmm, I shall think about these betting shenanigans some more. Can you still get tickets for the final by the way? Aren't you tempted to go?
Its a raffle I believe with 25,000 per club priced between £80 and £300. The chances of getting any are probably very slim and with June coming up (little Grim + Mrs Grim birthdays and wedding anniversary) I don't have the cash at the moment.
Absolutely fucking rediculous. Unable to score a goal from open play, Hernandez goes down with added theatrics in the box (seen that before) and the United players swamp the referee. Arent there meant to be rules stopping that from happening? Anyway, what a surprise; Penalty. It's no wonder Ferguson just loves Phil Dowd; they're both cunts.
There were supposed to be rules on players crowding the referee, or is that just for everyone else except manure. Oh well, the season is nearly over and we can start looking forward to next season.
Newcastle 2 - Chelsea 2. What a nice little game, although scrappy sometimes. Thought we were buggered after that header by Alex, but Taylor scored one himself in the dying minutes. We just need to beat West Brom next week to finish the season in the top 10. Not bad for a newly promoted side.
West Ham are the first team to get relegated. They have been poor all season and have deserved to be relegated ever since the Tevez affair.
This thread needs to be more active. The attention the old Prem thread got back in the old PVCF was awesome, does none of you like football that much anymore? Anyway, apart from the champions league final and a few Europe league games left, this seasons football season is over. What has been you highs and lows? Mine? The greatest comeback the premiership has witnessed! The Entertainers!!
Seems like that's it for United. Barca have been fantastic again, they really do seem to be a step above everyone else. No space for Berba at all tonight? What's the story there?
And sick note Owen on the bench instead of him. Curious. Was a great game seeing Man U getting all pissed off and outplayed.
