Finally home for a bit before I am out another night so I disabled AVG like you said and now I am running Malewarebytes. Its currently scanned half my Laptop and it has deleted 86 objects. Guess that's very bad yeah? Will try going back to automatic once it is done and will see if that has fixed my connection problem.
If those objects are cookies it's not bad. I they are real viruses they will probably come back even after deletion.
Deleting all of that Malware and disabling AVG did not fix the problem. I suspect that AVG maintenance program deleted something that was needed for connecting automatically. I am also getting yo-yo download speeds as well. I clocked 5 mbps 10 minutes ago as it was being slow then now I am getting 13 mbps, but before this problem I was always getting between 18/20 mbps. This never happened before I had to do those manual settings. I also notice on my network connections page my wireless network connection 2(Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter) is not connected with a red X next to it. I don't know if this is needed or whatever it is for. Any chance you want to help me troubleshoot it Grim?
