The patch fixed the mouse lag issue, and it seems to be running better. It's totally smooth now with no big dips in framerate. Not sure why the game wasn't like this on day 1. It got trashed in Steam reviews with lots of people requesting refunds. That being said, the refund process seems to work as intended. It forces developers to quickly fix broken games or lose a lot of money.
It fixed an annoying bug with stairs. Before the patch Jensen would pump his arms madly while while moving slowly going up stairs. Not sure how they missed that one. Which augs you getting? I'm getting everything that lets me get to places. Hacks, heavy lifting, smashing walls, persuasion. I haven't touched weapons or health yet. Haven't even killed anyone. I didn't intend to go stealth but that's what happened.
I overclocked my titan xp, so getting around 70fps min - 120fps max @ 1440p on ultra pre-set My room is like a sauna now though, so going to wait till winter to complete this game.
I got the PS4 Pro version for $20. It has been better than I expected. Seems very similar to the previous game, which is a good thing.
