  1. ....Skyrim as vapid 80's style Saturday morning cartoon. Video won't embed, but here's the link.

  2. if you like him well enough buy him off instead :) I don't know if that is an option as I'm probably the only one on earth that doesn't play this game but it should be. It's the democratic way! Buy him off or take his job (er in this case kill him).

  3. oops didn't mean to be so vague. my bad. I meant buy the enchanted armor/jewelry/weapons from their corresponding vendors and then disenchant them. they'll show up randomly from time to time. you just have to make it a chore to keep checking on them.

  4. He is not the leader you think he is. I cannot go into specifics as it is a spoiler, but he has helped me a lot so I will not kill him.

  5. I hit level 33 and got bored with my fancy pants ranged guy. I was dropping giants with 3 arrow shots and clearing dungeons without getting hit once (mostly killing bandits in a single shot) so I decided to re-do my decisions.

Sneaking is fun and I don't want no pansy david copperfield.. so I made a redguard rogue-like man. Gonna wear minimal armor and run around dual wielding. I already ran into trouble on that first golden claw quest. That final draugr that comes out after you learn your words would wreck me every time if he saw me. Had to sneak attack him, run away, hide again, sneak attack again, and hope he's weak enough for me to swing away.

What's funny was that I totally never realized that in the beginning of the game, they gave you a choice on who to follow when the dragon attacks (stormcloak or the imperial guard dude).

  6. That sounds a lot like your last guy. Wont the tactics be the same? A rouge will still use a bow.

  7. I'm planning on not using archery at all. On my last guy, melee was just for shits and giggles. I think my one handed skill never went past 35.

I'm gonna play this like a rogue in wow.

  8. So no range attack? That's hardcore.

  9. Ranged is for pussys. Melee is where it is at!

  10. It's all for pussies. That's why everyone grinds for ebony/dragon armor and enchanted weapons that do mega damage. Now, if someone on this forum was completing the all the quests via melee with fur armor and a leather helmet Conan style...

  11. I've not got the best armour or weapons yet, I have been doing the main quest and exploring. I meant ranged is pussys in the sense that they dont go head on.

  12. In every Elder Scrolls game you start out as a prisoner who probably doesn't like the Empire very much, but this is the first game where you can actually do something about it.

  13. Anyone else noticed that magical resitance is completely fucked? I have 85% and it doesn't provide any more protection than my old 25%...

  14. I have no armor. I'm hardcore.

That comic is great because I was totally thinking like that when it happened.

  15. I honestly don't get the comic....

  16. and why... dont you understand the comic

  17. Well... I dunno, argonians have been in the Elderscrolls games since the begining?

  18. Interesting way to play.

  19. You tell me this now. I finished making my ultimate armour last night enchanted with a load of resist magicka. Took me about 6 hours of hunting for the right clothes, sourcing the right ingredients and materials, making the potions, walking around over encumbered, running away from a dragon for the first time (I had no weapons or amour on me) and generally being distracted by my family, for me to finish making and enchanting the set. My overall armour rating is now 996. My daedric sword does 336 damage plus 31 stamina absorption plus 31 points of fire damage. Next on my list is killing Alduin, it's been a long time coming!

I like the idea of not killing anything but you'd miss out on all the best loot!
