after 48 hours she's either raped and disfigured, changed identity or dead. Even the FBI couldn't find her than. The extra 24 hours is just a waste.
I'm thinking that the 'Choosing Sides' quests are just spectacularly buggy. I've had more strange things happen in-game in the handful of hours playing through them than in the previous 50+ hours of gameplay. Example: I fast travelled on a horse that I picked up at one of the defeated forts (my own horse had already vanished into thin air earlier), and as soon as I dismounted at an Imperial camp, it suddenly flew off the mountain side like it was shot out of a cannon and landed on the other side of a lake.
Ha. I saw a giant hit his own Mammoth once. It got launched. I haven't got a horse yet but I don't really need one.
I'll use my 666th post to mention that I took out the cultists at Boethiah's shrine and got the very creepy quest from Boethiah herself as a result. I'm up to level 37 now, but I still got my a** kicked by the Boethiah cultist mage a few times before using the proper strategy.
I am now the arch-mage of winterhold, have awesome robes (100% faster magic regen, +50 magicka and all spells 15% less cost) and one of the dragon masks (100% faster magic regen) .
I haven't actually really even explored the major cities yet so am sure I will find other usful things on other quests. I am still using Whiterun as my base of operations and haven't really touched the map around the other cities. So much to do in this game it is unreal.
No doubt. I made it my mission to discover all the words of power. Then I realized there were about 200 of them and most sucked so I gave that up.
I found that once I finished the main dragon storyline the greybeards seemed to stop telling me where words of power were. But I only went to see them once after that quest was done so maybe another visit is in order. I'm back into gears of we at the moment so that's taking up most of my time these days.
They only stop telling you where to find words when there are no more that are out in the game world that are accessible without having a quest related to the particular dungeon they are in.
I've put about 50 hours into it or so (I know, not much, but a lot for me anyway), and I feel it's one the finest RPGs I've played in recent years.
I finished most of the major side quests, but I still haven't finished the main quest. I played this so much for awhile that I got kind of burned out. World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy 3/6 are the only other games I can think of that I've put this kind of time into.
But I also think they stop giving the quest out after the dragon story line has started. That's where I'm at right now. I don't know if they will start again later.
I recently got the 'Delver' achievement for 50 dungeons cleared. It seems like I've done a lot in this game, but when I look at the list of quests and the map in my Skyrim guide...I'm probably not even halfway through all the content. Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood haven't even been touched.
For all us waiting for the 1.4 patch fixing PS3 issues, it's been submited to Sony last week. I suppose it'll be available at the end of the week. http://twitter.com/BGS_Devs
