Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

  1. What about Super Mario World? You can only finish the entire game with all secret entrances with 96%.

  2. That's your definition but I am close to that. Although I don't have the platinum trophy, I am like 5 most tedious trophies away from it. Specifically, I've finished the dragonborn storyline, the civil-war and all the guilds. And no, I haven't reached level 81 and I don't have all the masks.

But as far as I "finish" all TES games starting from Daggerfall, I consider myself having Skyrim finished. Your definition of finishing goes even beyond the platinum trophy as I don't recall the necessity to reach 81st level.

(remark: I actually haven't finished Daggerfall, one of the last dungeons appeared to be too difficult for my character but I've put like 200 hours into the game, explored all the major areas and was just about to finish the main storyline)

I could have said "I've finished WITH Skyrim", that would be more fair considering the actual state of the game on PS3 :)

  3. I'd say if you've finished the Dragonborn and Civil War questlines and all of the guilds, you've basically seen everything that's worth seeing in Skyrim.

Sure, there are minor quests where you can search for masks and Daedric artifacts, but those are boring and generic.

  4. I found most of the daedric quests to actually be some of the most fun and unique quests in the game. I've logged probably around 1000 hours all told and I'm still finding things I've never seen before. Yesterday I found the cannibal daedric quest and I've not had that before. I'm still playing it and I'm still loving it.

  5. So uh, I'll be playing Dragonborn when I get back from work tonight. Anyone else? Werebear here I come.

  6. Give some insights on that after you play a little. Since I am on the "inferior" platform, I can only envy you and hear your opinion. I wonder if the "Dragonborn will be available on Ps3 in yearly 2013" means that they will also deliver other expansions.

  7. Who knows? I reckon if they can release Dragonborn they'll be able to get the rest out. I just overheard a guard in whiterun mention a creature he'd never seen before over by some cave, "small and wicked" he said. Sounds like goblins to me. I've also been attacked by some cultists for my lies about being a Dragonborn, there were no survivors. Apparently there's a quest that only appears once you've maxed out at level 81. I'll have to stop using my alts and focus on my main then, 8 levels to go :)

My main dude is so OP now I played for 20 minutes before I realised I'd been playing on master difficulty (I have a character doing a master difficulty play through).

  8. Silly cultists. [IMG]

  9. I'm only a few hours in but I really love dragonborn. It's a huge breath of fresh air which the game really needed. After spending 10 minutes in Morrowind I began to feel like it was a whole new game. You really do feel like you're in this strange alien land. I've collected, upgraded, and enchanted 3 brand new sets of armour already, and I've still got Stahlrim Armour to make which looks awesome. I just hope it's better than daedric armour because I am so damn sick of wearing daedric to be honest. I met a guy who's a brother of someone in the thieve's guild, I have a new follower voiced by the guy who played the president in Fallout 3 and Linderman in Heroes, I've found strange shrines being built by entranced townsfolk, I've learned a new shout that boosts my armour rating, attack power, and shout effectiveness once a day for 300 seconds, I've encountered a daedric prince that you spoke to in Skyrim, but I was in his realm briefly, I now have a new active effect meaning my follower cannot be harmed by me while in combat, and I've found a sword that fires red waves of energy at things. There's even new music to really drive home the fact that you're somewhere totally new.

All that in just 6 or so hours of gameplay, I've still got 85% of the island to explore. This is easily the best thing to happen to Skyrim since the game came out, well, apart from that Randy Savage Dragon mod lol.

Early impressions. Dragonborn dlc: 4 out of 5 torn pitbulls. It would be 5 but the game has crashed on me three times and I've noticed load times have reached PS3 standard, which I thought I left behind.

  10. I have just defeated Miraak. The reward is really awesome. Anyone want to know what it is? I won't spoil it if people don't want me to.

  11. How does Dragonborn work if I don't have a saved game from Elder Scrolls?

  12. Solstheim has landed on ps3 and I am relieved to announce that it works surprisingly flawless considering all this delay. Not only that, the 1.8 patch seem to make the game run fluently, with acceptable draw distance and no other major issues.

At first I was skeptical and I though I would wait for the goty edition but Dragonborn is discounted for a week and there it is. Folks at official beth forums also seem rather pleased with the patch.

  13. You start a game and I guess once you find out you're Dragonborn you get the cultists attacking you.

Anyway Dragonborn is old hat. It's all about Redguard now!

  14. No I think you have to progress further in the game. Anyway I can download a save off the interweb if needed.

  15. Bethesda have ended Skyrim development.

    Arma will be very sad.

  16. A little. But at least they're at the stage with their next game where it demands their full attention. I think we all know it's Fallout 4. If they do with the latest Fallout what they did with the latest Elder Scrolls I'll be very happy. I like Fallout quite a lot too, after all, Fallout 3 was basically Oblivion with guns.

I've still got time to put into Skyrim though. I have two Skyrim series' on the go on my youtube channel and I just started a new character on the brand new Legendary difficulty, because it would be rude not to use this new feature.

Also we still have one more DLC to come for Skyrim, which people are expecting Bethesda to reveal at E3.

As I said before. I'll be playing Skyrim until at least the launch of the next gen consoles.

  17. Fallout 4 I bet. 8)

  18. I was so looking forward to more episodes with arma doing his dungeons and dragons voice while masturbating furiously about his magical dragon armor.

  19. I loaded this game again and figured I'd need to start from scratch or download a saved game from the Internet but I was pleasantly surprised when the game offered me two old auto-saves. I have no idea how that happened. It's been over a year since I've played and that was on a different drive and different OS.

  20. Saved to the cloud perhaps? I back my skyrim saves up to the cloud.
