Enemy Expatriation Act (H.R. 3166)

  1. Of course, you can't find the "liberal media" reporting anything about this. So most of the sites devote to are sensational, but the underlying act is still total bullshit. This makes NDAA seem timid and weak.

The biggest problem is the vague definition of "hostility", and the no-court/trial provision. Some bureaucrat can essentially revoke your birthright US Citizenship.

  2. That's it. I'm moving to Canada. Fuck this shit.

  3. lol bunch of scare-mongering that is... and while NDAA may also turn out to be so, it's totally needless. With all the security proceedures out there one should EXPECT them to take your citizenship away if they find a bomb in your suitcase.. that's all it means to me.

  4. There is an uneasy trend in government where they are trying to take away your right to defend yourself in many different cases.

  5. What if they just decide they don't like protesters and label them terrorists? Send anyone who dissents away to prison. This type of thing happens quite often elsewhere. People who stand up to oppression just disappear into a black hole somewhere. It's not something people in the US tend to even think much about, but there's a real danger for substantial abuse.

  6. On Around the Horn they were talking about a hockey player who opted out from visiting the whitehouse. One guy said, "THIS IS America! Nothing the Government can do against you" I than got up and screamed OH YES THEY CAN!!

  7. Good idea. I have friends that have already moved to Scandinavia. Stay in the US if you're suicidal and really like the idea of corporate slavery or death.
