Apparently he was suicidal and couldn't get the job done. Probably called the cops himself to report a suspicious black man in a wheelchair lol.
Misbehaving in class? Prepare to get body slammed by some cop with an anger problem. He got fired from his job. But he might have a future with the WWE as the new Big Boss Man
Attractive lesbian couple honeymooning in Hawaii hold hands and kiss while grocery shopping. Homophobic off duty cop on a power trip beats them up and arrests them for being gay in public. Dude is probably gay himself. What straight man would object to these two kissing? http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/hawaii-arrested-lesbian-couple-kissing-lawsuit-article-1.2415881
Serial rapist cop who attacked 13 black women including a 17 year old, and actually got convicted with a probable 200+ year sentence. Thought he could get away with it and no one would care because they were poor and black. Prison is going to be hell for this guy. He's a crooked cop, a rapist, and a child molester, all things prison inmates just love. He'll either end up dead of a "mysterious" suicide or in permanent protective custody. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/12/daniel-holtzclaw-trial-guilty/420009/
I was watching the video of the verdict and the only thing I could think about was what his Lawyer was writing. His client is totally breaking down and he looks like he's trying to finish his Sodoku puzzle before they kick him out of the room.
This is a good step in the right direction. But most of the abuse was at the state/local level and I'm betting the corruption money is too good to see that end.
Woman found guilty of disorderly conduct for laughing at Jeff Sessions confirmation hearing. This is the same confirmation hearing where Jeff Sessions perjured himself.
I probably would have laughed at that statement too. This is a guy considered "too racist" by Republicans themselves back in the 1980's. Also, if you watch the video, it's not much of a laugh, just a slight chuckle. Prosecuting her is over the top authoritarian BS, but that's about what I'd expect from Jeff Sessions.
"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty. Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it. It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passions. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another."
What's the opinion on this video? It's painful to watch. http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/454504/police-murder-daniel-shaver
It's just more incompetence in training police to view the public they are supposed to protect as enemy combatants. This guy didn't appear to pose any threat, but even if they thought so they could have easily scooped him up while another officer covered him. Instead, they behave as though he is a suicide bomber for the Islamic State with one hand on a detonator and the other on an RPG. The sensible thing to do would have been to tell him to remain on the ground in a prone position with his hands together while another officer ran over and threw cuffs on him and extracted him. This hybrid of Simon says and Russian roulette was entirely unnecessary and demonstrates just how incompetent and inept police training is. They're undisciplined, scared, and inadequately screened and trained.
