  1. This is a short but hilarious video. Epic fail ending!

  2. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and FDR: American Badass. They seriously need to bundle these two together as a grindhouse double feature.

  3. Not funny but curious
A Spanish video ,a homage to Obama with Plena latin rhythm.

  4. This guy is a douche and a bad parent. You don't respond to childish behavior by acting childish yourself.

  5. Him getting angry at his kid's little rage is rather immature. BUT it is just human nature, not douche. Your a douche for callin this guy a douche. Have a little tollerance and hey! If you see a rage you don't agree with why not rage yourself and call the poster a douche?? My that's mature.

This may be an example of bad parenting, but if he did this with her in private (without blowing up) it's not. He's not a bad parent either, just misguided as to his way.

If you were my kid (and I was into acting all high and mighty) I'd say you owe him an appology... and possibly an explanation if you feel like giving it. But your not my kid. But your still acting every bit as like a kid as he is.

  6. Posting it on the internet makes him a douche. Flying into a rage and destroying things when his kid acts childish makes him a bad parent. Kids model their parents' behavior. The daughter is a brat because she see's this kind of thing and thinks it's okay to behave like this. If you want your kids to act like adults you need to act like one yourself.

  7. Wow, this guy thinks that this is a way to get a message to his daughter? I can see her leaving the house right when she's 18 and never talking to him ever again.

  8. I think the 45 was overkill. A 9mm would have worked just fine.

  9. so what? you think your kid should emulate the adults? really?? Their kids. They aren't equals, they need to learn respect. It may sound cruel but this is how society works. Kids are not tried as adults, kids do not work for a living, adults can do at least 2 things (gamble and smoke) that kids cannot (legally) do. Simple as that. If you want your kid to grow up as a whiny bitch you don't teach him respect.

I'll say it again, there are things a kid should be allowed to do, there are things an adult is allowed to do. Kids do not emulate adults and adults do not emulate kids. Again, HE was mistaken, but I see no problem in his parenting. Other than shooting up a perfectly good HP DM1z....

  10. You clearly have zero understanding of child psychology. Children DO emulate adults. It's in their nature. Numerous psychological studies have demonstrated this. That's why kids need good role models to emulate.

Please read this classic study and just stop talking because you sound like a moron:

Also, respect is earned. Acting like a bully and childishly destroying things won't earn you respect. It will just make your kid resent you.

This guy is perfect example of why so many American kids are so fucked up. They're being raised by parents who act like children themselves. Want to raise a mature, well adjusted kid? Grow the fuck up and act like an adult.

  11. did I say to act irresponsibly? ofc not. adults should act like adults, like you'd hope they would WHEN THEY GROW UP. It's stupid to restrict yourself to just things they can do and hide the rest.

as far as the bolded part that is true, thus I said you teach them respect! I don't really care for the new age way of thinking. I would if what I observed through foster kids and neighbor kids that I've had a hand in growing up (ie they lived with us). To me the proof is in the pudding. Kids who grow up learning respect grow up to be finer individuals than those who are given the chance to be spoiled brats.

  12. Yes, and this guy wasn't acting like an adult. He was acting like a bullying, attention seeking kid.

Your kid bad mouths you on facebook...

Adult reaction - restrict laptop privileges, make kid apologize, when things have calmed down have a discussion about why the kid was unhappy in the first place

Childish reaction - destroy laptop in some over the top display on youtube so you get lots of attention and can laugh at it later

  13. I recall an interview with Bob and Mike Bryan where they mentioned that their Dad threw their NES off of a cliff when they were kids because they were playing it during study time. It was traumatic at the time but now they are world record holding tennis champs. This is proof that destroying your kids prized possessions will only make them stronger.

Anyway I'm pro Dad on this one. He gave her the laptop and had every right to take it away. Shooting it may have been overkill but it does make for good Facebook material.

  14. May seem like that to you, I thought that too at first. But thinking of it this way. his only mistake, IMO, was to put it on Youtube right?

I'll edit this, but here the saga continues here (I just got this on facebook (funny how that happens), it's a long read and poorly edited :/

man this guy is a blow-hard (typical Texan...)

It's funny how he admits his mistake of putting it up on YT but I didn't see an apology :/. Great role model he's settin there.

Anyway beyond that I don't see the need to call him anything like a bad parent or a douche. He did buy the HP DM1z in the first place.

She actually bought the laptop with her own money. He says that in one of the posts related to the video.

The guy is just a bully, and all this teaches his daughter is that it's okay to destroy someone else's property if you're mad at them. Great lesson.

When I was in high school, I worked crappy jobs to save up enough money to have my own computer. I would have had a meltdown if my parents smashed it.

  16. Since you point out that she may have bought the laptop herself (from gifted funds no doubt...) but it sounds like she doesn't get many items, just moneys. THAN perhaps there was some kind of possession claimed to that purchase. I wouldn't say much (it's obvious she doesn't have a job), but a kid DOES tend to deserve the gifts that are given to them. She has an issue with him touching her stuff. Now whether he should have shot it up or not?? I don't know. I rather lean to yes, as it is a repeat offense. Do the plice have the right to confiscate things? Hell yes they do no matter who you are.

Not the way I'd parent he deffinitely made some mistakes, but he should make it clear that his mistakes are not meant to rub off on the children... than again that's why it's important to appologize and say what your appologizing FOR. It's important for HER to understand what he's apologizing for. You don't seem to get that part.

yeah, she doesn't have a job, that much is obvious... Than again, she's a girl, I'm not sure that's the route I'd want to take (not saying girls can't get jobs, just I don't think an underaged girl should be made to work... most of em are dumb as logs)

  17. Stever Carell and Bill Murray, is that you?

  18. Skip to 2:05 to see what a rocket launcher does to a car.
