The Star Wars prequels suck for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest is that there's no continuity with the original trilogy. A lot of things described in the original trilogy that sounded awesome ended up being pretty damn lame or just not making any sense in the prequels. I find it's best to just pretend the prequels never happened or that they were just terrible fanfiction.

This girl was given novacaine presumably to ease the pain of having her wisdom tooth pulled out. I don't know why you Americans feel the need to drug people into submission like this. When I had mine out I was simply given a local anasthetic and I knew where I was the whole time. I just find it random that these people are drugged up to the eyeballs for seemingly no reason.
Novocaine is a local anesthetic. Also, if her wisdom teeth were impacted, she probably needed a general. Don't assume things just because your experience went smoothly.

There's a difference between having a local anesthetic which is all you need, and being drugged so heavily that you don't know where you are or what has happened. I'm just wondering why they drug people so heavily over there.
