That crazy lady isn't that unusual in the Midwest or especially the Deep South. There are some real batshit crazy zealots in those regions. Also, this is a gif rather than a video, but I couldn't help but be amused by this porky guy trying to do some sit-ups and getting punished by the cat.
Yeah, the TV is already on a tilt before the cat even jumps up there. And who films themselves doing exercise?
Perhaps he wanted to show off how he gets his ripped abs? It's more exercise than most Americans seem to get. Most struggle to get out of bed or off the sofa unless it's to go to an all-you-can-eat buffet.
I hate they way some women go around slapping men because they know they're untouchabe. I'm not saying whether he was justified or not but if you hit someone you should expect a reaction. Here's the latest Epic Rap Battle: Some of the ones they've done in the past include Leonidas vs Master Chief, The Wright Brothers vs The Mario Bros., Stephen Hawking vs Albert Einstein, and my favourite Justin Bieber vs Beethoven.
I agree completely. There's a ridiculous double standard where for some reason it's socially acceptable for a woman to beat the shit out of a man, and the man is supposed to just take it like an emasculated sissy bitch. I'm not saying I would hit back. But I would definitely grab her arms to stop her from hitting me and maybe pin her down until she stops. Guys shouldn't have to take that kind of crap.
I'd say something like "I wouldn't do that again if I were you." if she asks why I'd continue with "Because if anyone hits me more than once my mind goes blank and all I see is a white hot flash of fury."
That was my exact reaction when a Pakistani woman I had taken out on a date suddenly smacked me twice. I was enraged when I unexpectedly got swatted in the head and warned her never to do that again. She laughed and did it again, thinking nothing could happen, and I grabbed her arm, forcefully pulling her toward me, and I angrily yelled in her face that she was to never even think of trying something like that again. She suddenly looked terrified and didn't say anything else and didn't even look up for the remainder of the walk home. I'm typically very calm and collective, and I'm usually the one to deescalate conflicts, but I do not tolerate being struck by anyone. I'm not sure if that's acceptable in her culture, and I didn't stick around to try to find out. I was active in the university judo club at the time, so I would imagine I probably had the grip of a steel trap on her arm. It's completely out of my character to use any force against a woman, but I do not let people hit me in the head. I had no idea how I would react to such a situation, but it actually happened, so now I know.
Is it a cultural thing with Indian and Pakistani women to smack men? I kind of wonder now. And what set her off, or was it just out of nowhere?
It caught me be surprise. I think we might have been joking about something right before it happened, but I hadn't said or done anything that was insulting or demeaning that would prompt being struck in the head. She was smiling and laughing when she hit me, so it obviously wasn't out of rage and she looked shocked and terrified that I would do anything to stop her from doing this again. She seemed to genuinely feel that she could strike me in the head without any fear of consequences. I don't know why she did it. I was too angry at that point to have a rational conversation about it and didn't speak to her much after that incident.
