I got FL Studio Mobile HD for iPad a couple of days ago and have so far managed to cobble 3 pieces of music together. Have a gander if you please. I would suggest you wear headphones as they're 102x better that way. Orbiting the planet we call Earth you can't help but be in awe at it's beauty as it just spins in the solar system we call home. http://youtu.be/VUYxD79PtHc You see gases and various particles converging in the distance. By the time you're close enough to see what's happening you find yourself in the presence of one of the Universe's most humbling displays, the birth of a new star. http://youtu.be/DNIKorKfV3A You have become detached from your ship. Floating helplessly through the cold silent void. Asthenia begins to set in and the hopelessness of your situation becomes almost unbearable. You begin to ponder. How can the most inhospitable environment known to mankind be so beautiful? http://youtu.be/XPBmXGujBv4
Thanks. You'll probably like this one. It's something you've always dreamed of. You've been to Mars, Venus, even Neptune. But you've never travelled to the second largest object in our solar system, Jupiter. Until now. http://youtu.be/IhGF6M7dfpg My mum wasn't a fan of the second one either, but then she only got 10 seconds into it as she aparently hates hi-hats. Don't forget to wear headphones, or use speakers that kick out a lot of bass. that's how these were designed to be heard.
I've had a bunch over the years. I wanted this be quietly classy instead of having the usual noise. Here's some videos showcasing the idents I've been using. March 2009 http://youtu.be/_d1m9AyYtCA April 2011 http://youtu.be/tF2HU_IL4Ic May 2011 http://youtu.be/ZmDwW8JDBu0 August 2011 http://youtu.be/KThpjhQ5l2E January 2012 http://youtu.be/HBAop8zJ6pY March 2012 http://youtu.be/-pqcPyvcEmU And now I have the understated one I'm using for these videos. I'll still use the one with a jingle for other videos though.
Well something simple might be nice. Maybe even a sound effect rather than a jingle. Videos without audio in the begining always bother me because I think the sound is off on my PC.
I've got a little project/challenge for anyone who might consider themselves the artistic type. I'd like to see if anyone fancies doing a video to go with one or more of my tunes I've been making recently. They follow the same vein as the ones I posted previously. I'll post the audio once I've uploaded it to youtube and email the music to anyone who wants to have a go at making a video for it. I'm obviously not looking for anything of exceptional quality but something better than what I've been doing so far would be nice. You would of course be credited in the final video if I use your contribution. But if no-one wants to do it I'll just do what I've done with the other vids.
I think he plays guitar so I doubt creating a 5 second track that loops for 3 minutes is going to be his thing.
Yeah tunes, music. They're not songs as there's no singing so yeah the best description I can think of is tunes. Also it's nice to see that Grim feels the same was as me regarding that other rubbish. Also he just mentioned that I play guitar. I used to, but haven't for a long time. All of a sudden it's him with the good memory instead of me. For an idea of what to expect before I post them here you can check out the ones I've made previously in this very thread. I just wondered if anyone here was particulalrly artistic or proficient enough with graphics programs to simply make some visuals to go with the music. It could be a story, it could just be random but the general theme is outer space.
Nice. I'll aim to have them posted sometime over the next couple of days. There will be three, one of which is faster paced like the second one I posted before.
Here's 3 that I made within the last couple of months. Obviously headphones are highly recommended when listening. Interlude http://youtu.be/WOuli8dYVZU The Speed of Light http://youtu.be/TOADt61ekEk Cosmos http://youtu.be/bCsoz6eDcQM If anyone should feel compelled to make some sort of video for any of these that would be cool.
A button accordion. I used to play one years ago, had a break for almost 15 years but apparently you just don't forget some things like swimming, riding a bike or playing an accordion
I didn't realise they had ipads 15 years ago, maybe that's how Apple have gotten around all the "Prior art" malarkey.
